Tita Celia’s Filipino Comfort Food is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Filipino cuisine. Their breakfast selection is one of the best I’ve seen—homemade longanisa, tender tapa, sweet tocino, bangus, silog meals, and more—all at very competitive prices. You can really taste the care they put into their food, especially with their house-made longanisa, tapa, and tocino. Everything is seasoned perfectly and cooked just right.

The place itself is spacious, clean, and very welcoming, perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking to enjoy a hearty Filipino meal. The variety on their menu is impressive, offering a mix of classic Filipino favorites and modern comfort dishes, so there’s always something new to try.

The staff are incredibly attentive and courteous, always making sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality adds to the homey vibe that Filipinos naturally gravitate toward.

Don’t miss their sago’t gulaman and the refreshing fruit juices they offer—they’re the perfect sweet finish to any meal and pair wonderfully with their savory breakfast plates.

It’s no surprise that Tita Celia’s has become a trendy spot for Filipinos looking for authentic flavors that remind them of home. With delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this place has a loyal following.

Highly recommended! If you’re craving genuine Filipino comfort food, this is definitely the place to go. ️

Visiting LA and as someone who lived a long time in the Philippines I miss Pinoy food a lot. They provide counter service (cafeteria style) where you can see all the cooked dishes and pick what you want. Very authentic dishes. I thought the prices were good and you can mix and match your combo meal plates. The staff behind the counter were very friendly and willing to explain dishes to you.

I tried a lot of dishes with the group I was with. If you are new to Filipino food, the Pork BBQ, Sisig and Lechon Kawali would be good first choices from what I tried. I did feel the kawali could have been a little crispier though.

For more acquired tastes: I liked the ginataang kalabasa and dinuguan (made with pork blood) a lot. Kare kare was also good but felt it could have used more peanut butter in it.

Desserts: Buchi balls were really good. They had flakes of coconut in them which I didn’t get much growing up. Gulaman drink was good. I was a little let down with the Turon (banana lumpia) mainly because it wasn’t that crispy because it had been sitting. Those would be better fresh.

They had a water pitcher for free water.

Overall a good place for laid back atmosphere and Filipino experience and food. Some of the crispy dishes weren’t as good because they had been sitting though.

I haven’t been here too much since they remodeled after the fire couple years ago, but consistent taste and flavor for awhile.

Sad to say, prices have skyrocketed..dont have a problem but when the chicken adobo is 80% bones and nearly choking, NO visible meat..pretty pathetic. I paid over $17 (with tax for a 2 item combo) , pinakbet was my 2nd entree which was exceptional ( that had meat and one tiny shrimp which justifies the extra charge for meat and 1 piece of shellfish).. Too bad Tita Celia skimps and presented greasy, meatless adobo which is signature Flip dish.
I did get sabaw so cant complain…all I’m saying stop using SPRING chickens.

Step it up please, I want my meat! Ill return soon. Stay away from the chicken adobo.

Also, cashier didn’t give me my cash receipt…maybe only if you ask but was too damn hungry to bother her.

They do have tap water to drink but I don’t trust Carson water.

I liked their bilo-bilo. They were good. The breakfast meal was convenient and I liked it, too. The fish skin was a bit hard though. They weren’t crispy but so far, I had a good dining experience.

I recently ordered from Tita Celia’s Restaurant and was honestly disappointed with my experience. I specifically requested no talong in my kare-kare, yet two slices still ended up in the dish. Since it was a to-go order, I expected better packaging, but the food was placed without a separate container, causing the sauce to mix in with the rice before I even got home. On top of that, the kare-kare came without bagoong, which is a basic and essential part of the dish.

Overall, it felt careless, and I definitely expected more attention to detail. I hope they improve their order accuracy and packaging for future customers.

Very unsatisfying and disappointing. The breakfast combo is so dry and almost no taste at all, leche flan is the worst I have ever tasted and the cassava cake is so hard i can’t even slice it. I am sure that it was not like this before, to management please make sure that you will not compromise the taste and quality of food despite of inflation. I am definitely sure that there a lot of small business around this area that are better than this established restaurant.

Oh Tita Celia glory is quickly fading. I used to come her often everytime I’m in the area. I love there mechado and barbecue. The service is ok. I miss the older ladies before. They were friendly and funny. The younger lady (she has a pimple patch)- was the one who assisted us. Customer service zero! She must be the owner for giving a mechado with little meat but lots of potatoes…haha! Anyway, still exhaust is non-existent. This is worst than a Korean BBQ restaurant. Oh the male cashier is another one with zero customer service. It’s time to not return to this place.

The building looks like an old Pizza Hut, but the food is definitely not generic franchise. I tried the pakbet and the sinigang. I wanted more bagoong on the pakbet, but I still ate all the ampalaya (a first for me), !Not much meat in the pakbet. The sinigang was deliciously sour, with a nice piece of bangus. Service was quick and friendly! Will be back to try the kare-kare.

Easy to find through G-maps.

Parking was a breeze. Structure is clean. Some tables inside.

Set-up and prices is like food court in a mall, you just point what you want. See pictures for pricing of some items.

Fish sinigang, pork adobo, menudo, dinuguan, pork or chicken bbq, banana-q, and turon banana, sago drink, etc, were served to name a few. Food tastes decent.

Server was not as pleasant.. doesn’t smile sincerely.. although she answered my questions. Asked me if i am interested in buying a condominium in the Philippines. I was curious what the market rate is so i said yes.

No lines. I was done quick.

Please give a thumbs up if this review helped you in anyway.

Thanks for reading.
