Kitty Grill absolutely changed my life, my expectations, and possibly my internal chemistry.
I walked in thinking I was just getting food. What I experienced was a full spiritual awakening disguised as a meal. The kind of place where every bite makes you pause mid-chew like, “Wait… why is this THIS good?”
The food? Outrageously disrespectful to every other restaurant. Whatever wizardry is happening in that kitchen needs to be studied by scientists and probably regulated by the government. I ordered something simple, yet it arrived tasting like it had been handcrafted by culinary angels with advanced degrees in flavor engineering.
Everything was perfect.
Not “pretty good.” Not “nice.” Perfect in that deeply offensive way where you realize your own cooking has been a long-running personal failure. The seasoning hit like a motivational speech. The textures? Immaculate. Every ingredient clearly understood its role and performed with confidence.
Even the fries had main-character energy.
And the service? Suspiciously excellent. The staff was so friendly it genuinely felt like I had just returned home from war and they were honoring my bravery. Smiles, warmth, efficiency — not a single flicker of chaos.
The atmosphere is that rare, magical balance of cozy and cool. The kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed yet also vaguely important, like you accidentally stumbled into your new personality.
Kitty Grill isn’t just a restaurant.
It’s an experience. A lifestyle. A reminder that joy is real and can, in fact, be deep-fried or grilled to perfection.
Five stars.
Ten stars emotionally.
Would willingly develop a personality centered around eating here.

Best wings ever! Legit. Smoked for several hours, then fried. Wings are large and great quality. Fries are hand cut style and always fresh and hot. Staff is always friendly and service fast. Great for lunch/dinner, and our favorite spot to hang out before the Bengals’ games! We always feel safe and welcomed. I’ve even seen people come in with competing jerseys on and everyone is still welcomed! Place has got it all.

Stopped in here before going to the Bengals game. Didn’t get to try the food but wish I would have as we just stopped in for a few drinks.
Based on my experience was a really awesome place to go to before games. Old timey interior with super friendly service and a ton of TVs. If you come here, get there with plenty of time or come early. They put a max on the people inside the bar which I actually really appreciate. More bars need to do this as no one has fun when you are shoulder to shoulder in an overcrowded bar. If I come down for another game I will be stopping here again!

This place would be perfect if they utilized all their TVs. 3tvs down and not using the big screen. The volume of the game was barly hearable in dinning side. I asked if the volume Could be turned up. They said yes but never did. I could hear conversation in the bar area, 15 yards away over the game. Easy fixes for a 5start potential.

Absolutely horrible!!! We ordered bar food. Onion rings, breaded mushrooms, fries and jalapeño poppers. The onions rings were cold and very greasy. They were also very dark and the oil was very old! The mushrooms were cold! We ordered a normal French fry and received loaded fries for double the price. The poppers were ok but cold. The service was pathetic. The owner was wheeling around in a scooter, in a ankle leg cast with his dirty barefoot sticking out?? The bartender had open toed sandals on?? I talked to the owner about the onion rings and his response was, “I wouldn’t have ordered the onion rings” we were so disgusted and disapointed!!!

I had heard about Kittys, but always thought of it more as a pregame stop before Bengals games. I stopped by thanksgiving eve and I was surprised with how big the space was! There was plenty of dining room seating, as well as a full bar area. I saw the smoker out front so I knew the direction I was going to go as soon as I was ordering. Kitty’s smokes their wings in the house with a green seasoning and the light amount of sauce. We came in with a larger party, so the food took a while, but it was worth the wait! The wings were easily the best that I have had in Cincinnati. I was a little concerned about the price point. It seemed a little high ($15 for 8 wings), but the wings were huge! I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Another pro was the very reasonable drink prices. Domestic beers for three dollars downtown is a great find!

Went there Sunday to watch the playoffs football. Great atmosphere. Bar was full. Everybody was courteous. Had a fantastic server. I think her name was Lori. Tell her hi JT!

If you live in the neighborhood, you are not welcome. The bartender knocked over my drink, then poured a second one and charged me for both, somehow tab was 60 dollars. Then scooped up a pricey pair of sunglasses when cleaning up their spill then silently smirked back at me when I asked for them back. Paid the bill and walked out without my sunglasses and 60 dollars poorer for a drink I didn’t touch. When you come here you are a target.
