Reviews
All the dishes were unique, beautiful, fresh, and delicious.
They had many different types of items it was really hard to choose from.
For cocktail I got the Peach and Blueberry. Blueberry reminded me of a blueberry muffin.
Bora Bora was a roll without rice. It has scallop in the middle and some places I usually get a hint of fishiness but I did not get that. Including this bora bora, french kiss, and mango salsa halibut ingredients were perfectly harmonized and so delicious.
Mango salsa had a little kick to it and it really was perfrct with the halibut.
Salmon collar was the best we had. All sides were cook to perfection.
Agedashi had the delicate flavor of dashi which warms you up inside and out.
We tried the Banana Surprise, and boy we were surprised. It was not too sweet and I just gobbled it up. I am not even desserts person too.
Definitely this is one of my new favorite Sushi Spot.
If you want to go somewhere lavish spot definitely try here.
Perfect date spot, lunch we haven’t had to wait to be seated. 🙂
Unfortunately, my complaint is customer service.
* I was ignored when I arrived at the restaurant. (I watched her greet other customers as they came in).
* we asked the server about the special buy one get one half off. The young lady opened the menu to the pages that qualified.
* she then charged us full price.
she said it was only Monday through Thursday but if you see the picture with the sign nowhere, does it state it’s Monday through Thursday. In addition the server did not tell us when we asked her about the special before ordering.
Our table was a full-on festival — everything looked and tasted amazing!
Here’s what we devoured:
• Sashimi Tasting Platter (9-Grid Style): A visual and flavorful highlight — fresh, buttery, and beautifully arranged like edible art.
• Tempura Shrimp Sushi Rolls: Crispy outside, creamy inside, and rolled to perfection.
• Crispy Crab Claws with Daikon Salad: This combo was genius — the crunchy crab paired with refreshing daikon shreds was a match made in heaven.
• Hot Stone Spicy Stir-Fried Chicken: Served bubbling hot in a stone bowl, spicy and addictive — perfect for chilly nights.
• Tonkotsu Ramen: Rich, milky broth with tender pork — the kind of comfort that warms your soul.
• Fruity Sparkling Sodas: Light, fizzy, and the ideal pairing to balance all the flavors.
Every dish was spot-on. Beautifully presented, generously portioned, and full of flavor.
We left completely full… and ridiculously satisfied!

Total Price: Around ¥1000 RMB (~$140 USD for 3 people)
Honestly? So worth it.
For the quality, atmosphere, and portion sizes, it felt like a great value. No wallet regret here!

After-Dinner Tip: Take a Stroll to the Queen Mary
Don’t rush home just yet — extend the fairytale vibe with a stop by the Queen Mary, just a short drive from the restaurant!
This legendary ocean liner is actually the sister ship of the Titanic and is now permanently docked at the Port of Long Beach.
From a distance, it’s absolutely breathtaking — giant, grand, and glowing against the water.
We walked along the pier, let the breeze wash over us, and soaked in the view.
A perfect slow walk to digest the meal and end the night on a magical note.

Final Thoughts: 100/10 Perfect Date Night (or Solo Treat!)
This dinner + photo shoot + seaside stroll combo was everything.
If you’re ever in Long Beach — whether it’s for a special night out or just to treat yourself — Yume is a must-visit.
The food will fill your belly, and the fairytale ambiance will fill your heart.
Save this spot for your next romantic dinner, girls’ night out, or even a dreamy solo foodie adventure.
Trust me — you’ll feel like you’re in a movie.
