Street Tacos (Fremont St, Vegas) 500 Fremont street, Las Vegas NV

WE found this little street taco spot in downtown Vegas that’s serving up some seriously good tacos!

Quick heads up – they make everything fresh so don’t expect fast food speeds. We got three carne asada tacos and learned something funny: if you just order them plain, that’s exactly what you’ll get – just meat on a corn tortilla! Make sure to speak up if you want any toppings like onions or tomatoes.
We’ve paid $20 for 3 tacos and 2 bottles of water. Not bad for Vegas.

The good:
– Super tasty, authentic tacos
– Really friendly service
– Quality ingredients, made fresh

The meh:
– Longer wait times
– No place to sit and eat
– Gotta know to ask for toppings

Bottom line: Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving real Mexican street tacos in downtown Vegas. Just be ready to eat standing up or take them to go!

PS – Cash or card both work, but your stomach will thank you either way!

Ibarras is the best for street tacos in the Downtown area. They are juicy and delicious. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked.

The food was absolutely amazing I would have never imagine that a little vehicle could produce what it did. If I thought the food was that good I would have taken a picture before.

Tourist trap. Looks way better on the outside than it actually is. The carne asada tasted like dog food and was DRY and the corn tortilla for the taco was too grainy and weird. Also had the al pastor in a mulita. It’s too expensive for what it is and the al pastor, despite being cut from the spit (trompa), was bland in flavor and had no char or texture. Also the lady handing the food had a bad attitude for no reason last weekend. This place sucks and there’s better options within walking distance. It also clearly states on their sign open 24/7 but it isn’t and closed at like 2. TRASH.

Had some tacos here in March 2025 on the recommendation of the folks working at Walgreens – so good i came back a few more times and brought my friends. Excellent stuff. Nowhere to really eat the food around there so its more of a grab and go situation. If youre downtown and hungry for a bite, these tacos are good.

The food was literally to die for!! Out of our entire friend group, Everyone enjoyed the food to an extreme extent! An Absolute must go! I had the quesadilla with some lime, cilantro, and onions, as well as sour cream and red sauce and it was a complete 10 out of 10 – I’m dreaming of it to this day. Only downside is there is no stage seating area of the sorts, but it’s Fremont Street just eat and walk! 🙂
