My son and I were visiting Phoenix for a family wedding and I found Tambayan while looking for a place to have lunch. The place is bright and friendly, and they even have a stage for karaoke! The owner’s are very nice and welcoming and the food is very authentic! It definitely reminded me of growing up in our large Filipino family. The lechon kawali was delicious and the skin was crunchy! The dinuguan was wonderful seasoned. I wish I had more room in my tummy after this so I could order halo-halo, but I was quite full! I would definitely recommend this humble place and support these wonderful people.

Great atmoshpere and food, reminds me of the carenderia’s, the Gerry’s Grills, the restaurants next to a small outdoor karaoke bar, all in one place.

We came for my father’s birthday and had a great time. And most importantly enjoyed the good food.

We ordered Sizzling Sisig, Mixed BBQ platter (pork and chicken bbq all in one plate, without the sticks, which personally I enjoyed not having the wooden sticks), Palabok with Lumpia and Kawali bits on top, Fried Bangus, all with Garlic Rice.

There was also a group of Filipino’s who were singing karaoke and they sang all the classic’s, as if they had their own live show. Which was great.

The servers were kind and accomadting, they even had a small sari-sari store in the corner you can take pictures with if you miss that feeling of buying Ice Candy and Snacks back home.

Overall, good experience and would recommend if you miss the Philippines.

Great people and food! After seeing a viral video of Filipino food on Instagram, I looked up the closest Filipino food to me and found Tambayan. I went around 2pm and they were steady with a lot of Filipino people there, which I take as a GREAT sign. I’ve never had Lumpia, so I went with the Pancit Lumpia Plate which comes with 7+ lumpia’s and veggies. Perfect proportion for one person.
Will be back again!

The food was great—good portions for a good price. They also have karaoke! It was our first time, and we tried a few different dishes; everything was really delicious. Parking is a little confusing at first, but there’s plenty of it. It can get pretty loud during karaoke, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a quieter spot to chat

Waitress was rude when asked questions about placing an order. They were better off as a food truck. The serving size were small for the price and you can’t order any side dishes only by the platter. Not worth the prices for the serving sizes.

Love this place! The moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and taken care of by Charlie. Family owned restaurant serving authentic Filipino cuisine that includes an open karaoke platform and a tiny market that replicates a traditional selling stand from their homeland. Everything we ordered was delicious including their home made lemonade and their ube horchata is a MUST try! Highly recommend.

10/10 Amazing ! From friendly welcoming service at the door to ordering to the food . We ordered Lumpia , Pork Adobo , Sizzling Sisig , Lechón Kawali . We also shared an order of chicken and pork bbq skewers . Everything was delicious and well portioned . The star of the show was definitely the adobo . We order Ube horchata and the Lemonade . Both refreshing and subtle and enjoyable flavors . SAVE ROOM FOR THE HALO HALO !!!!
We’re from out of town , we’d be so lucky to get a Tambayan back home . So good !!

I came here for the first time with my siblings and father in law who was visiting from out of town. We were craving Filipino food and wanted to try their Halo-Halo. The staff was so friendly and on top of everything. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals and expressed how we would all be back. We drove here all the way from Gilbert and it was definitely worth the drive. We loved how much seating was offered and the restaurant was very well kept.
I haven’t had halo- halo in years and it definitely hit the spot! It was soo good! My kids loved the lumpia and I enjoyed their dinuguan and lechon. I highly recommend this place and will be back soon.
