We ordered chicken parm heros with fries (we always had a choice of fries or chips in the past) for carryout. When we got home the sandwiches and the fries were so soggy we had to put them in the oven to dry them out. The fries were like rubber, absolutely inedible. Then I found out that the fries cost an extra $5 EACH and the girl who took my order never mentioned the upcharge, we only found out when I called to see why it cost $26 for 2 sandwiches. You don’t even get a handful of fries and they are terrible, plus they never told us it was an upcharge when we ordered. What a ripoff.

They make their own dough and the cheese is the best quality you’ll find anywhere. When I enjoyed my pizza at home I was able to remember tasting the same thing in my apt in Brooklyn. It may not be made in NYC, but that doesn’t keep the pizza from tasting like it. Vito has brought his NY pizza knowledge to NC and we are fortunate to have him and this great Italian restaurant.

Caputo’s was a very pleasant surprise. Who knew so much goodness could be found in the middle of nowhere. Locals all seem to know, but it was a happy traveling find on 274. If you find yourself out that way definitely stop.

Our pizza was good, but man, SO much flour on the bottom of it – the flour was drying out our mouths so we had to brush it off onto our plates before taking another bite. (I’m guessing this was just a one-time oversight, so we’ll be back for sure).
The wings were good and will definitely consider getting those for a catered event (was great to see they had catering pricing on their menu).
The highlight was our server – she was the best (I wish I had gotten her name). She was sweet and kind to us and really just stood out as being very hospitable, and checked on us to make sure we were happy and had what we needed.
We will certainly come back in the future.

Don’t smell the bottom of your pizza from Caputo’s. We ordered two large pizzas and a steak sub. The issues were because they didn’t use a liner in their pizza boxes the hot pizza directly on the cardboard made the warm steaming pizza pick up a musty/moldy cardboard box smell and made it non-edible. We called to explained our complaint and received a response that the pizza boxes were assembled daily……Okay??but what time they were assembled has no barring on the fact that they made the pizza smelly. :/ I’m sure Caputo’s ,being in the pizza business knows the fact that using a box liner can eliminate this problem. For quality and sanitary reasons a liner should be used. We were told our name would be written in their book for a credit amount of the two large pizzas. A couple days later we decided to call in and use the credit and order a couple hot subs. We were then told we could only reorder pizza with the credit!! What!! Why would we want to reorder moldy smelling pizza again?? The manager then said they would only give us a $10 credit toward our order ,less than half the cost of the 2 pizzas . So we decided to scrap the whole order. Really?? This is the best you could do. Major disappointment. Customer lost.

I’ve given this place multiple chances and it keeps disappointing. Three orders in a row have been wrong and it’s been over the course of several months. I didn’t go back because of this reason and this last time was the final straw. Ordered 10 chicken wings and an order of mozzarella sticks, a simple order. Should have checked my order before leaving but didn’t. Get home and realize it’s incorrect. French fries instead of mozzarella sticks. Call and tell them and I am told I have to bring back the french fries as if I’m lying, this is odd. Take them back and immediately receive attitude from every person in the room, there were three people out front. I get told to “quit arguing” when all I said was my order was incorrect and this was the third time it happened. The people working here have serious entitlement and terrible attitudes. A refund should have been given with my correct food but instead I received attitude. Cherryville doesn’t have many places to grab take out but this one will be closed soon based off their incredibly terrible customer service. The food is not good enough to overcome the service. Thought I’d give them another chance and I was dead wrong. Got to Roma.

Great NY style pizza, wings are meaty and actually sauced right. If you get pizza by the slice, the slices are huge and only $2.50 for a cheese slice. Great service. Highly recommend this pizza spot.

I drive about 45 minutes to this place. Some of the best Italian food we’ve had in the most unsuspecting place. The staff is always incredibly nice and double check everything before we leave (we do takeout).

Great food and friendly service! Food tastes fresh and authentic compared to the commercial pizza places in town! This time I ordered a wedge salad and meatballs. Let me just say these meatballs are HUGE! They are tender and come boxed in an amazing sauce. And the wedge salad was far better than I’ve had at expensive restaurants! Super fresh and crisp, topped with tomatoes, blue cheese and a generous handful of bacon. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!
