Overall, our party wasn’t impressed with the food and drinks, especially priced so high. And don’t go there if you want hard shell tacos. They only offer small, soft tacos. The exception was a cheese covered boneless chicken breast covered with poblano pepper sauce and served with rice and steamed vegetables which I found unexpectedly mild and plentiful.

My friend and I went right after the Pride parade. It was busy but we were seated quickly. We chose to sit outside. It was very clean on the patio and the trees offered some nice shade. The bathrooms were very clean as well. I ordered a traditional margarita and wow. Had I drank another, you’d probably have to carry me out. It was strong in content but the taste was very well balanced. I honestly liked the chips, salsa and guacamole more than our actual meal. I got a burrito with carnitas and it was pretty standard. There wasn’t a whole lot of flavor. However, the refried beans had a smokey flavor to them and I loved it. Our waitress was amazing and very friendly as well as the bus boys who came by to refill our waters and take away dishes. I’m glad I finally got around to checking this place out. I’d definitely be back for drinks and apps to enjoy out on the patio.

This restaurant has lots of potential.
First, they have a reservation system online and yet they don’t use it. However we were seated quickly – great considering that it was cinco de mayo. When we were seated we didn’t get chips and salsa until we flagged a waitress down (mind you the restaurant was 50-60% full at the time). The music was also so loud we had to shout the entire time to each other, making the experience pretty miserable.
The redeeming factor is definitely the food – by far the best Mexican food in Chicago which we received reasonably quickly. We had the enchiladas and chimichanga (suiso style). I’m hoping the music isn’t normally that volume and I would come back to try again.

I doubt that starting from the drinks: Lemonade is not Fresh, coke is fountain drink probably RC Cola, I was looking for Authentic Mexican Coke in the Bottle or Fresh Lemonade.

Great drinks! Also food quality is good. Employees/staff are very helpful and polite. It’s located in one the best neighborhoods in Chicago. I am taking one point off because I believe prices are a little bit high. All in all, I liked this place and recommend it to everyone.

Come here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. Pricey but expected for the area. For authenticity, the food ranks pretty high for me and are portioned well. Margaritas are decently strong for what you pay but great for a weekend night. I definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys good mexican food.
