The Boot Room is a sandwich shop, soccer pub and event space, located next to Beer Study and Starpoint Brewing in Durham. We serve inspired sandwiches, burgers, big salads, and appetizers for lunch and dinner. We will also be serving brunch on the weekends in the future. Soccer games are always playing on multiple outdoor and indoor TVs. Drift in for a sandwich and come root for your favorite club.
Down-to-earth Italian fare is served in an industrial-chic setting with communal wood tables.

Sports bar with solid sandwiches. Definitely a sports bar vibe but comfy and decent service considering it’s a counter service spot.
We tried wings, fish and chips, and the Rachel. All solid, though I think we’ll stick with the sandwiches next time. Coleslaw was surprisingly excellent, fries were very good.
Will be back.

Came here after reading raving reviews on the chicken sandwich. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Came in for dinner and unfortunately it was terribly disappointing. Probably one of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had in recent memory, thin piece of chicken and it was very stringy and tough. The fries were good and Beer Study in general is fantastic, so hopefully this was just a once off but I was told this was one of the more popular items on the menu.

I actually feel deeply disturbed that I have not posted a review yet for my top 5 Favorite Place. This place is the perfect mixture of local watering hole, delicious/indulgent/slightly-healthy food, football club watching, limitless beer option place. Like ever.
I can’t emphasize enough how much I like the food here. And the single first picture is all you need to know really for food. This is the coup de grace of the food choices. The “digger” sandwich with a side salad w ranch (not pictured) and a side order of sweet potato fries with the literal world’s best honey mustard dipping sauce. I mean The. World’s. Best.
But I’ve actually eaten almost almost everything on the menu and I honestly love each and every item. The whole menu is diverse and unique and has healthy options and creative options. Really next level.
And the cornucopia of options on the beer side coupled with the endless sea of tables to sit and enjoy, or invite friends and gather together, the cultural Soccer vibe from The Back Room, and everything in between. This place is a small slice of heaven, on like 15 different levels.

We came to the area to watch our daughter’s collegiate soccer (fútbol) game. The next day we wanted to watch FC Barcelona and did a quick google search and found The Boot Room. The atmosphere is really great to watch fútbol ⚽️: the TVs, the paraphernalia and the people.

Great place to hang out, enjoy some amazing food. The drinks are fantastic. Food portions are large. The atmosphere is why you go and keep going back, though. Great vibes from staff and customers. Everyone in there is a friend, whether your first time or 100th time.

Great selection of apps and bites to go along with your beer from Beer study. The tots are absolutely incredible. Saucy, crispy, tangy, and popping with flavor. If you get one thing, get the tots, and wash it down with a few beers. Perfect.

Upon walking in, there appears to be 3 separate places, which is slightly confusing. There’s a place to order right when you walk in, but a sign towards the back left says “Boot Room” and leads to a bar area. It would probably have help if anyone had spoken to us when we got there. Once we finally figured out we were in the right spot, we ordered our food, found a seat, and went to the adjoining “taproom” to get a couple beers. The guy in the taproom greeted us right away, and was very friendly/helpful. The food and beer were very good, they just need to work on the “service” when you walk in, because it’s definitely not inviting. The walls in the place are decorated with tons of football (soccer) memorabilia, which is pretty cool, and the taproom has a lot of drinks available to buy.
