We had already spent a decent amount, so we didn’t want to argue or send it back and create unnecessary drama. Overall, the experience wasn’t satisfying. Hope they improve their quality and consistency. Won’t be visiting again.
I ordered 2 chicken shawarmas and waited… and waited. A full 30 minutes passed with no sign of my food. During that time, only one order seemed to go out (likely a pre-order or delivery), but nothing for me. The lone worker took my order politely but didn’t communicate any delays or start preparing anything visible.
After about half an hour, the rest of the crew finally arrived. One of the team members checked the order screen and immediately instructed someone to prepare chicken shawarma. It became clear the initial staff member either lacked the skills/training to make it or was simply waiting for backup instead of starting the process. This felt like poor management—especially for something as straightforward as shawarma, which shouldn’t take anywhere near 30 minutes in a low-traffic dhaba.
A heads-up about potential wait times would have been basic courtesy. If the kitchen wasn’t fully staffed or ready for certain items at that hour, the customer should be informed upfront rather than left hanging.
When the shawarmas finally arrived, they were a letdown. The wraps were cold and noticeably greasy which made them feel heavy and less enjoyable.
For a quick roadside bite, expectations aren’t sky-high, but good service and hot, fresh food are non-negotiable. This visit fell short on both fronts. I wouldn’t rush back, and I’d suggest sticking to peak hours when the full team is on and things move faster or perhaps trying a different spot for shawarma.
The Veg Manchurian was also not cooked properly; the inside of the balls was raw, so we returned it and requested Gobi Manchurian instead. Unfortunately, even the Gobi Manchurian had a stale smell. After tasting one piece, we decided not to continue and left the place.
We also noticed several other customers taking their food back to the counter with complaints, which was concerning.
I visited on a Friday night, not a heavy rush even then many items are out of stock.
We tried:
Nellore chicken in appetizers,
Nawabi mutton pulao,
Few rumali roti’s to taste.
The mistake we did was we told spicy for both started and pulao.
Stater: has more tomato flavor than spice.
Pulao: mutton is served separate and rice separate. This made us do . Rice is flavorful but mutton isn’t.
Runali roti is soft when hot. But the price $3.49 each. Dammm…
A true gamble. Some dishes are Okie dokie, but others are not even close. If you’re feeling lucky, you might get an okay dish -but consistency is a major issue that needs fixing.
Calling it biryani is generous — it was curry mixed with rice, overloaded with spice and zero finesse. No depth of flavor, no biryani soul. Just chaos in a box.
The fried rice was dry and bland, and the gobi Manchurian was greasy uncooked, and had no seasoning. Not the fresh, sizzling street food experience they pretend to offer.
Definitely not worth it.
One of the worst Gobi Manchurian experiences I’ve had. Would not recommend it unless the kitchen seriously improves its quality and freshness.
They’re riding the wave of media attention by playing a new movie on their TV.
And The tea? Tasteless. The price? Decided by face value or social media. Congratulations — it’s not just bad food, it’s personalized overcharging, and for others who follow their Insta account tea is the cherry on top? They said, “Follow us on Instagram and get free tea.”
What ruined the experience wasn’t just the bad food — it was the worst management I’ve ever dealt with. Completely unprofessional, careless, and uninterested in customer feedback. No coordination, no courtesy, and absolutely no quality control. If you’re expecting decent service, you’re in for a rude shock.
This could be so much better with a little care and consistency. We’d love to come back — if you fix it.
The Mysore Masala Dosa and Pav Bhai are very well made, tasty and worth the drive for us.
But the stuffed mirchi bajji took forever to be made and its one of the worst that I ever had. Not sure what flour was used but it is worse than lakka pindi (the lowest quality of Besan flour). Definitely not worth it. And you have been informed.
If they don’t have particular items, it would be best to let the customer know than make up something in it’s place.
