I come here for the Penang duck curry all the time and recently, it was missing the traditional south East Asian flavor. The curry had a lot of coconut in it and not enough curry paste. Also there wasn’t any crushed peanuts in the curry. Maybe they have a new cook or today was just a miss. I will come back another time as I am a regular but will have to ask the cook to make the dish more of my liking.

A few years ago, we ate here and the food was very good. On Saturday Jan 3, 2026, our family came back and the food quality is going down. The Pad Thai dish and Drunken Noodle dish are both greasy. The distinct aroma and flavor of these dishes are barely there. The presentation is not inviting at all – just a jumble of noodle, veggie, meat mixed up together and threw on a plate. It’s like the cook doesn’t bother with making the plate looking enticing at all. We notice the available condiments, especially the soy sauce, chilli, saté are more like for a Chinese restaurant than for a Thai restaurant. We inquire about whether they have a new cook. Staff insisted that the cook is still the same. Anyway we are not coming back.

Thai Chilli is a cozy local restaurant in Elk Grove with an extensive menu. I recently tried their Thai Noodle Soup and Lao Style Papaya Salad, but unfortunately, they weren’t to my taste. Both dishes leaned heavily on the sweeter side, and even their sriracha and chili oil lacked the spiciness I was hoping for—adding more only made the soup sweeter. I ended up requesting chopped Thai chili to get the heat I wanted. However, their service was exceptional, which is always a plus. While it didn’t suit my palate, it might be just right for you!

Really tasty Thai food, dome if the best I’ve had in a while. The flavors were allowed point. I like spicy so I chose their 5 level spicy and it was just perfect. And they didn’t just put in bunch of dried red peppers to make it look spicy. They used actual Thai chillies.
We tried the chow mein, garlic chicken, yello curry, fried rice. All the food was amazing.

The food was great! They have a huge menu, and you can choose your meat and the level of spiciness. The food is high quality and delicious. We got six different items for six people and really enjoyed sharing everything.

The system of ordering is really convenient and worked well. They have a QR code on the table that lets you not only see the menu, but also order right from your table. We grabbed a table outside and ordered this way, and got quick, friendly service. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice place, fast service. Food was pretty good and lots of choices. The restaurant itself is not what I would call fancy but was fine for me. Servers and staff were prompt and kind. Will be coming back to get out more things on the menu.

Thai Chili was a delightful experience! We started with the tofu spring rolls, which were fresh and light. The rice paper was perfectly chewy, and the tofu paired wonderfully with the crisp veggies. The accompanying peanut sauce was a great addition, adding just the right amount of flavor.

For the main course, we had the drunken noodles, and they were fantastic! The noodles were perfectly cooked and had that great chewy texture. The dish was loaded with a variety of vegetables, giving it a nice crunch and freshness. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat, making every bite delicious.

Service was quick and friendly, making our dining experience even better. If you’re craving some tasty Thai food, Thai Chili is definitely worth a visit!

Got the Drunken Noodle plate which came with a small kick to it. Wasn’t bad at all. Just the right amount for me personally. Also got Chicken Satay that came with I believe peanut sauce..? Anywho, overall I was quite satisfied. The service was good for the most part. No problem there, although I felt like the place was overall just a bit too dim.

Decent food tastes. Friendly servide. The fried rice was good, recommended. The flat noodles tasted good but too broken into small pieces. Not a big fan of the spring rolls.

It is a cramped place with foul smell. Although the food had decent flavor and service is friendly and quick. Good about food: Flavor, appeal, appeasing and decent taste. Bad : chicken was overcooked and rubbery to chew. My yellow curry was too thin and too sweet. Vegetables such as beans were not cooked and served raw. Look like they were tossed in deep fryer for 2 seconds.
