Was meaning to write review on my last visit but totally forgot. Having read their reviews, I had to try it. So one weekend went to try their ice cream. The menu selection was so tempting, couldn’t decide which I wanted luckily they had sample option, where you get to pick 6 different flavors. Honestly, I was so proud of myself for picking this option. All 6 of them were so good but obviously it was quite a lot. It’s going to be more than enough for 2 people. Based on sample, I was able to pick my top 3. So, today went back again and got a pint of grave digger. Yummm!! Must try. Highly recommended.

This was a really cute ice cream shop in downtown Troy with really unique ice cream flavors. We really liked what we ordered.
The Grasshopper was very minty. The Grave Digger had a really nice and strong coffee flavor. The Matcha Man was my favorite. No kidding around with the flavors. They were not delicate subtle flavors here.
Parking was a bit difficult. We had to park a few blocks away and walk to this place. There was a line to order but it moved quickly. We can tell that this is a popular spot for tourists and locals.

The Cookies & Cream surprised me the most, though it’s not my favorite flavor, i ended up finishing a large portion.

The Dutch Udder is quickly becoming my favorite ice cream spot. Their ice cream flavors are delicious, creamy, and so inventive. From the rich chocolate caliente to the cookies + Irish cream, and let’s not forget about the koffie (instant death) for us coffee aficionados–each scoop is a flavor adventure. Plus, I adore that they keep things fresh with new flavors every once in a while (hello Blueberry muffin!)
They’ve got a whole range of specialty treats to explore that I still need to try – donut sandwiches, chocolate tacos, root beer floats, and more! And they have a range of cone flavors – birthday cake, lavender, chocolate, etc.
I can’t wait to go back and dive into their specialty items yum yum

This is some of the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. They do add a tiny bit of liquor during their process to lower the freezing point while adding flavor, giving their ice cream a fluffy and sticky texture. I tried the Rochella (Nutella with Frangelico) and it was amazing. They have a flight option for trying multiple flavors too. Plus they allow you to sample before you buy. Inside the store it’s very on-theme. They had an ice cream sandwich futon and Oreo seats! It’s very photo-worthy. Staff were excellent and made suggestions since it was my first time. I would make the trip for this ice cream alone!

Cute shop with over 150 rotating flavors. The ice cream is a bit sticky and dense, in a way that reminds me of gelato.
Their flavors are great and you can ask for samples before you decide.

Delicious ice cream spot. Always have a few gluten free and vegan options. Their dairy free vanilla is one of the best things I ever had. I never like vanilla ice cream. But Dutch udder makes it sooo good.

After walking through the farmer’s market (which I highly recommend), I stopped in for a chocolate waffle cone and dairy free chocolate ice cream. Excellent. The staff was friendly, the dairy free ice cream was creamy and coconutty, and the waffle co e was delicious. I highly recommend the Dutch Udder.

Cutest little ice cream spot. Unique craft flavors. Lots of dairy free and gluten free options- even for toppings. Really friendly staff. They let us have samples since the flavors are unique. Love the ambience- super kid friendly… they can even draw on the tables with chalk!
