Best burgers I’ve tasted so far in Australia. If you want your authentic American style smashed burgers, this is the place to go. I’ve also tasted five guys burgers in melb and they are not really considered smash burger patties, these ones are. The cheese and grilled onions complement well the burger. Chips are good as well. Only thing I wish was they had were more normal sauces like chilli or Smokey bbq sauces to go with my chips, that would be great,.they do have other sauces but not the same. The refillable drinks are also one of a kind, in Australia anyways. I’ve seen such drink dispensers in US but not in Australia and the kids love it.

Had to share this experience with Stax Burger Co.
I originally tried the Mahsun Derulo burger from the Prospect store and honestly thought it was a bit bland. Fast forward to Valentine’s Day when I visited the Golden Grove store and met the owner, Zaynn. I mentioned my previous experience and he said it may not have been made right and told me to come back and try it again on the house. That night I got the Stax Burger instead, which was also incredible, and he even gave me free sauces and a cinnamon scroll – such a genuinely nice guy. The red velvet and birthday cake cookies were amazing too.
I came back tonight and he kept his word with a free Mahsun Derulo… and wow. Absolutely incredible. Easily my new favourite burger. Massive respect for the service and the way they look after their customers. I’ll definitely be back.

Greeted appon arrival, amazing staff lead us to a table then ordered and noticed we forgot to buy stax sauce, we went to order it and the amazing staff member gave it to us for free! we also received our food very fast, food was unreal and the chips were sweet and salty, the perfect match! Absolute phenomenal experience with stax.

It was good, had a burger combo with unlimited drink refill. Staff great, friendly. Burger was tasty, maybe a bit pricey for the size is all. Chips were good.
