We came in, not many people, midday on a Monday, had to wait to be acknowledged and seated. We were served by the bartender. She was awesome!! She was fun, knowledgeable, great at making drinks and was happy to give suggestions on something I had not tried before (there).
The queso was delicious and sooo hot, exactly how we wanted. Chips and salsa were good. The food was hot, fresh and and cooked perfectly.
Atmosphere was relaxed, fun and not at all rushed. We never had to wait for anything, once we sat down, our server was on top of it. We really enjoyed the meal.

Macayo’s is your pretty standard Mexican restaurant. We got the Signature Sampler to try a little bit of everything, and the green corn tamale bites were the real winner there – something different and really tasty.

The combo fajitas were decent, the steak was nice and tender, which is always a plus. But I felt like it could have used a little more seasoning. The mini chimichangas were fine.

Our server wasn’t around much, probably because they seemed a little understaffed that day. Honestly, with so many other amazing Mexican food options around here, I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to come back. But hey, if you happen to be in that shopping area and just need to grab some food, maybe if it’s not too crowded, you’ll have a better experience than we did.

Service was chill, no complaints there. Food was the most bland flavorless thing we have ever had. Even the hot sauce we asked for was like tomato water. I’ve had classic white people Mexican food, but nothing as bland as this.

This Mexican restaurant offers a decent dining experience with a solid selection of classic dishes. The food is generally flavorful and well-prepared, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of “exceptional.”

Typical continental Mexican food place. The food was basic, the carnita chimichangas were decent, the chicken burrito was dry.
What really caught us off guard was how rude and rushed the server/bartender was. The restaurant had 12 total customers with 4 workers in the front of the house, yet our server remained rushing around too busy for manners. When I said thank you while she handed me sour cream she responded with there you go. Would not recommend this place.

Logan was our server. It was obvious right away that he was a new server. Many times we would ask for things, like more chips, extra salsa, and sour cream with our meal, we would eventually get the things we asked for but it took quite a while for them to come or we had to remind him that we had requested it. Normally my experience at this location is usually a great one. However, this experience with this server was not a joyful one, but only because we didn’t have a good server. The good news is this will not deter me from coming back to the restaurant. Hopefully the next time I return Logan will be a better server or I will have a different server that is much improved. Thank you.

Service here was a little slow. Not the fault of our waiter since I think he was serving a lot of tables, but they should probably have more people working. I also felt like the food was not great. I got shrimp tacos which weren’t very flavorful. Veggie enchiladas were okay. The best items were the appetizers.

Food was good, check out the pics. We both had chimichangas for Veterans Day, one shredded beef the other carnitas. Also had margarita flights, I recommend the passion fruit. Dessert was Enchiladas Dulce, very very good.

Today was the 3rd time we have ordered lunch from this location and every time, the woman at the to go counter has been rude.
Today our order had not even been started at the pick up time. I understand if they were busy but there were only 2 or 3 tables in the restaurant with people.
Today I had to go back because we were missing salsa and I was standing at the desk for 10mins while 3 waitresses sat at the end of the bar chatting!

Walked into a half empty restaurant. Bartender told us to wait for a hostess and ignored us thus moving forward. No hostess for 12 minutes or even wait staff – everyone just staring and waiting outside of the bar. Leaving and only then did the host finally appear to tell us there is a 25 minute wait for a HALF EMPTY restaurant.. This place is a soon to be out of business restaurant with this zero care service business practice. I can only imagine what is happening in the kitchen if the greeting staff is so dismissive. Save the gas and horrible service and go somewhere else.
