Had a work lunch meeting in this lovely little town. Very cute and cozy Italian style dining room with great service. They had a lunch menu and lots of traditional Italian dishes. For lunch I just got the Italian sub which was very good. My buddy got the chicken parm sub and loved it. Good value, great people, nice subs. Recommend.

Daughter had cheese ravioli which was delicious. We got an xl new york style pizza. Great flavor, fresh ingredients. The center of the pizza was a little soggy though. Which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. Service was 5 stars. Super cute little restaurant with lots of different Italian dishes. Will go back when we are in the area.

Ordered delivery. The Carbonara came and it was nothing more than dry spaghetti noodles and some seasoning sprinkled on top. There was a scant amount of sauce. When I called to inform them, I was told to “add some heavy cream and reheat it”. WOW! This was my first experience with D’Fontanas and my last. If they are not even willing to make it right, then I’m not willing to spend my money there.

A wonderful little Italian café! The pizza and pasta are absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the whole experience warm and enjoyable. I truly recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food!

I just moved here from Atlanta and I love this area in Green Cove Springs where this restaurant is. First I wanna say that the service was exceptional the french fries perfection. My wife loved her soup. The pizza was not bad. The crust was crispy, but the toppings not great. I understand when you buy a slice of pizza and add toppings and you have to typically get extra cheese for it to be like a normal pizza slice. I would suggest that of your ordering only a slice. I definitely wanna go back and try a full size pizza as I imagine it will be delicious. The only complaint I had was that the sauces were a dollar additional on top of what we were paying so if you order ranch, it’s a dollar if you order a garlic butter it’s two dollars Additional. I would just keep this in mind as that was not explained to us while we were ordering our food. Other than that, it was a cute little quaint restaurant with a very good service and Pretty delicious food. We know that Green Cove Springs community loves this restaurant and we love it too, and we will be back!

One of my favorite Friday night activities is to drive from Orange Park to Green Cove to pick up a yummy dinner from here.
We will often get a cheese or pepperoni pizza, salad, and maybe eggplant parmigiana. Occasionally we also get tiramisu. So good!!
Of course we can’t wait to get home to eat. The aroma is too enticing.
I love opening that box and taking the first bite of a hot slice–salty, lightly chewy, and with just enough crisp.
I do have one big complaint: you need an Orange Park location, preferably 5 minutes from me instead of 30.

The atmosphere for the place looked great when I stopped to get my order. Felt like I was rushed to get off the phone when placing the order but I can understand if very busy. The food left a lot to be desired though. The size for the price was a little underwhelming but the biggest factor was the taste.
There was literal chunks of garlic in the bread and it was not pleasant to bite in to. The sauce was not seasoned and tasted like it was straight out of a can from the grocery store. The crust of the pizza was crispy and done perfectly but the taste just made it not pleasant.
Could be just a bad experience but we will definitely not be returning any time soon.

I went there today for lunch. Christian, was our server. He was so super attentive to us and as sweet as can be. I had chicken marsala. I have to say,being from a Italian family,I was skeptical at first. Its hard to find a good Italian restaurant around here. It was top notch. The mushrooms were fresh, the chicken was super tender,and the marsala sauce perfect! My husband had the meat stromboli that was awesome as well! Thank you for a wonderful experience and amazing food!

$30 for a large veggie pizza that was bland. almost no flavor at all. The veggies looked like they were frozen and thawed out, super watery. The crust was very bland. A pizza from Papa Johns across the street would have been better and more flavor. I don’t care for red sauce and asked if I could get a different sauce, and the lady taking my order told me, “No, it’s a pizza. You can only get red sauce.”
