Stopped in for dinner with my family expecting to have a good experience as we have had here in the past but tonight was different! The food was absolutely horrible! Everything lacked flavor and seasoning or was just overdone! Too much sauce and cheese on a simple kids cheese pizza. The wings had no seasoning, a bit cold, and were just covered in sauce. The sweet potato fries were bland and not sweet. The burger had a bunch of toppings loaded on top making it too overwhelming. I sent my wings back because I couldn’t eat them while my family tried to eat some of their meals since we were starving. However, most of it was left untouched. Yet we were never offered anything else as a substitute or even offered to remove (at least) the wings off of our bill. We paid for everything without an issue but nonetheless, tonight was disappointing. I’m not sure what it was. Maybe the cooks were too occupied with the private party in the other room, but something was off tonight.

We visited the Nest last night for dinner and as a local whose lived in the area for 10yrs here are my thoughts…the Nest has great fresh food, better than Dunning Pour House who has recently disappointed us with over all quality. They offer perfectly crispy tater tots, waffle fries or sweet potato fries and a variety of fresh salads which believe it or not isn’t always easy to find. The ambiance is great if you appreciate a variety of music including latin, which at some bars they block from the TouchTunes (jukebox app). The servers/bartenders have always been friendly & attentive. We met Madison last night and he was a gem, both friendly & sarcastically funny. However, once he finished his shift we unfortunately had horrible service from the 2 female servers/bartenders who closed out the night. We had a group of 20ppl and each time i asked for something i either got a rude look or ignored. Same issue when my wife attempted to close out the tab, she stood there waiting and asked the male/female who were standing behind the bar ands was told “I’m not in the clock”. It just gives that they don’t like their job. If that’s the case they shouldn’t be in the service industry or stand behind the bar in general.

I came to see the bears game tonight, but I did not make it on time. Even though, I did not make it on time, I still had a great time. This was my first time here tonight! Martha was very polite and asked me and my other two friends if we needed a a drink or food. The first thing that impresses me about a place is when employees are kind and professional something she delivered tonight. I also talked to the manager Jay and he answered all questions we had regarding the upcoming World Cup! Thank you for making my night a special one. I really liked the bar, they played good music and the crowd was cool.

Came back to try more food and drinks. We ordered burgers and a sandwich. They did not disappoint. It was karaoke night and we had a blast. Thanks to all the Jay and staff for making us feel welcomed.
Still an awesome place to have a great time with great drinks and great food. Friendly staff, great atmosphere! Wings were really good!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The mood was real settled down and cozy. The music wasn’t too loud… my companion and I were still able to hear one another talk. The lights wasn’t too bright or dim. The bartender was real personable. And the food and drinks put a smile on both our faces.

I recently hosted my baby shower at this location and they truly exceeded my expectations. All my guests had a great time and complimented how lovely the spaced looked. Jay was wonderful to work with as he was very accomodating and helpful with answering all of my questions and checking on the service level throughout the course of the party.
The food was excellent, specifically the mashed potatoes and pizza, and fairly cost friendly. I highly recommend this location for any event needs. They are easy to work with and very accomodating with the space.
I will definitely be booking a future event here.

The blackened chicken sandwich was huge and seasoned decently (though I would’ve liked some sauce or mayo with it).
The fries that came with it were borderline cold and soggy unfortunately.
The cheese curds were great. Hot and crispy.
Water glass wasn’t refilled.
Music was a bit loud, but it is a bar.

Amazing neighborhood bar in Chicago. The owner is awesome and he clearly cares about his customers and the quality of the place. The pierogis are unreal – easily the best I’ve had anywhere. Great atmosphere, great people, and food that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend The Nest.

We had a private party for my daughter’s graduation/birthday and it was fabulous. The food was on point and Kasha was very friendly and took care of everyone’s drinks. You have the option to cater their food (which was easier and convenient for me) however you can bring your own. The room is spacious and does not need a lot of decor because of the rustic look the ambiance is a perfect setting for any event. You can plug in a phone/iPad and play your own music. A lot of guest were inquiring about the private room because they loved it so much. I will definitely use this location again and I highly recommend it to anyone.
