My husband and I stopped in for a nice dinner while in downtown Stamford, and we were impressed! Truly a great place for a seafood lover. The lobster mac and cheese was delicious, and we liked how you could choose any cooking method, fish, sauce, and side to make your own meal. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, with everything coming out from the kitchen in timely manner. Loved the vibe as well!

I stopped by Fish in Stamford, CT for happy hour and had such an amazing experience! I sat at the bar and was helped by Kayla, who was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, her energy, attention to detail, and friendly personality made the whole visit even better.
She made the best mules and espresso martinis I’ve ever had! seriously top-tier cocktails. I also had the $1.50 oysters (can’t beat that deal during their daily happy hour) and the salmon lettuce wraps, which were to die for!
The ambiance was amazing, classy yet relaxed, great music, and good vibes all around. Between the delicious food, the beautiful setting, and Kayla’s outstanding service, this place easily became one of my new favorites. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

During a recent visit to Stamford, we had several opportunities to indulge in the Bedford St row of restaurants, the highlight being our dinner at Fish Restaurant & Bar. Our timing was ideal as happy hour was still underway. Decent selection of food and drinks offered. We ordered a couple dozen Blue Point Oysters with cocktails in anticipation of our main courses. The Oysters were fresh, briny and delicious and had we not ordered the mains, would have indulged in another couple dozen. Our mains arrived; Bouillabaisse for me and Paella shared by the girls. Excellent presentation for both. The Bouillabaisse was substantial, full of fresh seafood, with a subtle saffron broth. Their recipe did not include the typical lobster tail flourish, yet satisfying nonetheless. The Paella was generously portioned for two with ample seafood and elicited positive responses.
About Juana S.; within minutes of seating, we were greeted by Juana. She was easy going and felt familiar from the start. Juana was appropriately attentive, but most memorably a delightfully personable and engaging host to us. It felt like being a guest in her home. I will look forward to our next visit to Stamford and another meal at Fish and hope our timing aligns with Juana’s schedule. She was a rare experience in hospitality.

What a great little spot! Sat at bar during happy hour for a quick early meal. Salmon wraps and shrimp cocktail were so fresh and tasty. Excellent peach martini, just because. Happy hour deals are unbeatable.

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Fish last night, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Juana was our initial server—warm, attentive, and welcoming. When she had to leave for the evening, Soso stepped in and truly made us feel at home. Her kindness and friendly energy were so genuine, it felt like we were dining with family.
We had a toddler with us, and both Juana and Soso went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable and happy. That kind of care means the world, especially during a special occasion. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was seamless, and the staff made our evening unforgettable. Thank you, Fish, for helping us celebrate with such grace and heart!

The Mediterranean salad was awesome – great veg, feta, olives, quinoa, light dressing. Delish. Probably should not have ordered paella in a fish restaurant- save that for Spanish restaurants. The rice was not fresh and came out too quickly – it was not really a paella. It was more like overcooked rice with fish in it. Yummy fish but not what we expected. It should be removed from the menu or it needs to be done right.
Overall good experience but avoid the paella. Looking forward to trying grilled fish! We will be back.

I was very excited to try Fish after hearing how good it was. I have mixed feelings about the overall experience. We ordered our drinks and started with the Pear & Truffle Burrata salad (5 stars) which was fantastic with flavor. The salad came out before the drinks were served. I had the Clouds Empress gin cocktail (5 stars) for taste and flavor. Our server Deanna was friendly but the service was slow and she wasn’t very familiar with the menu items. After finishing our salad, we had to wait another 30mins before ordering our food while our server talked to the guests at the table behind us. I was interested in ordering the Lobster Raviolis but wanted to know if they were made fresh in-house daily or if they were frozen, she had to ask another server and they are frozen, not made at the restaurant . I ended up ordering the Cajun Shrimp entree and I was not impressed. It was more of a cream sauce with no Cajun flavor at all. The scallops were non existent(chards). I had asked Deanna for salt and pepper and she brought over two pepper grinders, the salt was in small clear glass bottles, had to ask another server. I’d come here for drinks but the prices do not match the quality of the food served and the whole process just dragged. The host was very nice and staff were personable and pleasant. We sat outside as the evening was nice and warm. Parking is on street and what is available. This is a busy area so getting here earlier would be advised.

This is a very good restaurant. For the appetizer, we ordered the Fried Montauk Calamari, which was excellent. For the entrées, we chose the Naked Fish option: grilled salmon with a side of mashed potatoes, Baja fish tacos, and Black Squid Ink Linguini. All were delicious. However, for the Naked Fish, it would be better to include two sides. The portion of mashed potatoes was huge, and I recommend allowing the option to choose two smaller sides instead, so people can order both a carb and a veggie with their fish, for example. The atmosphere is very nice, and the outdoor seating is lovely. I highly recommend it!

Solid 4. The place is actually relaxing and the servers were lovely. Food wise, wouldn’t say exceptional (just lacks flavor in general), it was just good. We had the steak and halibut as mains, but the cod tacos just don’t seem to work with the mango on top, doesn’t add any flavour, but that’s just me. Good place for lunch but I’d also look to try other places int the area.
