Driving down on 411 from Chatsworth, GA, we stopped at this little jewel place, which is like the waffle house but much better. I loved their food. It didn’t give me that acidity I get when I eat at the waffle house. Their hamburger steak with onion and brown gravy was delicious with the sweet potato fries and toast . It was cooked to perfection . If you’re in the area, stop by. You won’t be disappointed. I know we will stop by at the Royal Waffle King again. Definitely!

I take my step mom here to eat while I am in Alabama for a visit. Service is pretty good but our table had a menu on the floor under table area. I could not reach it cause of a resent surgery I had. You had to watch getting up cause the menu would slide on floor. The table could of been cleaned a little better. It looked like someone wiped it but not the whole area of table. Some areas on table was sticky. I will go back to eat here. Because everyone needs 2 chance. I have seen worse at other places. If it was not for table being sticky and menu left on floor I would of given it 5 stars.

I recently visited Waffle King and had a mixed experience. Upon entering, the atmosphere felt a bit uncomfortable before the staff became more welcoming. This huge dude came out of the store staring at me as I entered with my friend. I thought I would need my passport on me and not just my ID to prove I’m from here- type of energy. If you know, you know. My meal consisted of a steak with eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. Unfortunately, the steak was overpowered by fat and lacked seasoning. The hashbrowns had an unappealing texture and taste, feeling almost artificial rather than made from real potatoes. However, the eggs and toast were enjoyable. A huge shoutout to our amazing waitress – she provided top-notch service and truly made our experience brighter. I wanted to show my appreciation with a bigger tip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the extra cash on me. In hindsight, I might have been better off ordering the burger instead. Overall, while the service was great, the food fell short of expectations.

Food’s always been great, every time we’ve been here. No issues there. But I would like to kindly suggest that if you print coupons in the newspaper, you should honor them. When we presented our coupons at the register, we were told that we should’ve given them to our server when we ordered, and that they would be charging us full price.
Very disappointed. I like this place, but I’m not particularly interested in coming back if this is how they’re going to treat repeat customers.

First I would like to say that I have been dining here for 30 plus years since I was very young . I have visited this restaurant 1-3 times a week for years . The staff are friendly and great . Amanda the manager is awesome and really makes you feel welcome with her big smile . She has worked there for years since she was 14 . She is the face of the company for a lot of people in our community. We stop even when we are tired of eating the same old things just to have a laugh . Today it appears you have chosen to terminate our dear friend and loyal manager at the waffle king . As for me and many of my friends and family we will avoid doing business here as we only go here out of loyalty to the employees and the friendly service . We can eat the same old food anywhere in town . And probably for a much cheaper and reasonable price . So just know I’m one of many loyal patrons you will lose . I remember another time you guys terminated her unjustly and re hired her . I hope you realize this huge loss and mistake . If she isn’t performing it’s you the managements job to bring her up to your standrads, but not to terminate her based on poor leadership in which you and your superiors are responsible is very rash . What makes you a great leader is bringing people up and training them not criticizing and pushing them down . So I encourage the leadership there to re hire our friend , neighbor and loyal employee back to her job . Otherwise you will surely reap what you sow I’m sure of it . I will start this reaction with my business going elsewhere . I you will lose customers one at a time starting with me . Thanks

This place was pretty good… I love a good breakfast restaurant. The Belgian waffle wasn’t great and falling apart but overall I was satisfied. Very similar to Waffle House restaurants.

My BLT was great! Best I have had in a long time. Could have used a few more French fries on each plate but the fries were great. Only complaint would be the size of the hamburger. Definitely not sized for an adult male. Burger size of those in a kids meal.

We came in really late, their midnight servers didn’t come in and instead of just kicking us out they asked for our orders and served us. I’m a picky pregnant lady but I enjoyed their food, especially the mozzarella sticks. Plus we had a really sweet, understanding server.

Worst I have had in awhile. Sat for nearly 45 minutes waiting for the waitress to get us coffee, water, take our order anything. Poor service. Food was slow coming out. No coffee refills. Plain old fashioned POOR service all the way around.
