Food is not the same as two years ago, i had take out of the beef with chili peppers today, beef is very bland, and chili pepper not chili, beef is probably $2 per pound( cheapest stuff you can get) it also taste like rubber, and some of the pepper were as thick of my finger, it doesn’t taste chili or good at all, I wish they could refund me. I spilt it out after a few bites, totally ruined my day.

What a delightful place to visit over and over again. Food was very delicious, portions were generous (we ordered the sizzling beef, General Tso’s chicken and spicy sour cabbage fish) and the staff were friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this gem!!

Deserves every bit of 5 stars. The food and service were superb and the restaurant is extremely clean. My husband and I have been chasing an authentic Sichuan flavor profile after having previously experienced homemade Sichuan and Spicity is a hit! The twice cooked pork took me back thirty years and the fatty beef in peppercorn oil was fantastic. Portions are large and satisfying.

I came here and I ordered for carryout and I was a little bit nervous. I start to order from here because the previous Chinese restaurant that I’ve had weren’t the greatest and so I didn’t want to be doubtful for this meal and then when I first tried it. The aroma was so delicious. I knew at that place. It was going to be amazing and so I take the first bite of my meal and it just felt like Home and comfort in one place I was having the most intense week with exams and I miss a good Chinese takeout meal and this is one of the best I’ve ever tried. I would recommend friends family locals to eat here because I just felt so at home and they didn’t hold back from the flavor of the food and I would definitely come back here again!

This restaurant was just opened when I left Blacksburg five years ago. It’s still among the best Chinese restaurants of the town. The flavor of twice cooked pork immediately brought back some of the old memories. But some dishes were totally a failure. Fried pork in scoop was too hard to chew, like rocks.

After the Virginia Tech game these three frozen Hispanics needed to thaw out and eat something. Not knowing the layout of the land, I selected something way different than what we had been eating so spicy Chinese food sounded great. The restaurant is located in a weird location and parking might be an issue if all the shops were open in that strip area. We entered and were seated quickly. The servers were acting like if they had just done a triathlon. There were tables that hadn’t been cleared. After a while our server arrived ready to take our order yet we had been seated with no menus or drink orders taken. The bathrooms were clean and located to the right of the kitchen. My two boys are really not creative and always order orange chicken. I ordered twice cooked pork with eggplant. The food arrived quick with the chicken a bit sweet yet the eggplant was delicious with the garlic sauce. The portions were ok yet three plates for $47 bucks makes it hard to give two thumbs up.

From my experience, the menu items with pictures are generally good. I particularly enjoyed the Chinese vegetables with garlic and the sizzling beef filet.
The restaurant is spacious and clean. Eating spicy food and washing it down with some beer on a hot summer day is not a bad way to spend time in Blacksburg.

The food quality was ok, big portions. But service was below standards. First, they didn’t tell me that they don’t have what I order before serving everyone else on our party, and then they tried charging us for this meal. The waiter didn’t know what each dish was, checking online when he brought them.

Greetings from the culinary wastelands. Spicity in Blacksburg on Prices Fork Road, (just SW of everybody’s favorite traffic circle, across the street from B-Dubs) is a welcome oasis for fans of top quality, authentic Chinese dishes.
We visited around noon on a weekday and it was not super busy. We were seated quickly and the atmosphere is exactly what you are imagining in your head, only cuter. The music is even great. Two people in our party had questions about the menu and the server was awesome all the way around. The callbacks were on point as well.
We ordered the Mai Fun, Braised Beef w/tomato, Golden Sands Shrimp and the Beef Tendons & Tripe appetizer. Plus tea & dumplings b/c… Let’s do this thing right, shall we? Every single dish was perfect! So freaking delicious! We left very full and with to-go containers.
The prices are also kind of amazingly low, especially considering the excellent wait staff and home run ambiance. If you are searching for a legit Chinese restaurant with a menu that zigs where others zag, get some Spicity in your belly and thank me later.
