A gem Chinese restaurant serving authentic dumplings, noodles and northern Chinese food. Staffs are friendly. Quiet environments good for team building. Plenty parking at back of the restaurant.

The portions are generous and the food tastes great. They also offer free tea, which is a nice touch. While some reviews mentioned that prices are slightly high, I think it’s reasonable given the portion size. Definitely worth trying!

Had a wonderful dinner at this Northeastern Chinese restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff lady was incredibly warm and welcoming. We ordered the braised pork with vegetables, which came with potatoes, green beans, and tomatoes. What really impressed me was how well the vegetables were cooked—especially the ones that can sometimes have a strong taste, like tomatoes or eggplant. Everything was stewed to perfection and paired so well with rice.
Another thoughtful touch was that the restaurant served complimentary tea, which balanced the flavors nicely if the dishes felt a bit salty. We also ordered two cold side dishes, and both were refreshing and delicious.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine!

Delicious food, excellent tea, and wonderful service! My friend and I ordered some braised pork belly, and it’s the first non-crunchy pork belly I’ve ever fully enjoyed. The pork was super tender and flavorful, and we finished every bite of the meat, noodles, and veggies along with two pots of tea. The portions were generous (and affordable!), and we were getting full, but I really wanted to try their dumplings. We got some shrimp, pork, and chive dumplings, and they were fantastic (also the soup dumpling variety with broth inside).
I would have never found this spot without my friend and can’t wait to visit again soon! Our servers were incredibly sweet and attentive!

Absolutely loved their food! Very flavourful!!! I was happy to see tons of vegetarian options.
The Green Beans were my absolute favourite, very garlicky and perfectly spiced.
I’d also recommend the Tofu Napa cabbages (spice 3). The tofu was soft and well done, in a nice spicy sauce. I wasn’t a big fan of the iced tea though, it was very diluted for my taste!
Overall, the food was great, service was quick and the staff was friendly. Plenty of seating and not too crowded. A little expensive but worth it:)

We tried their Pork Ears, Braised Pork Hot Pot, and Pork & Chives Dumplings!
We loved how fresh and filling everything was, and how sweet the employees were! We will definitely come back to try more dumplings and more of their dishes for dinner. Their homemade chili oil was also spectacular!

I cannot recommend the dumplings from Dumpling Generation more! I’ve been going here for about 5 years and the taste has been consistently amazing! Sue puts a lot of effort into her food and it shines through every bite

Ordered the chicken fried rice, tastes great but there was barely any chicken in it. And the chicken pieces are cut to very thin pieces so that’s even less…not worth the price they charge

Dumpling Generation has the best dumplings with the most flavorful, high quality filling and homemade wrappers. The ambience is cozy, and the service is excellent. Portions are generous. The colorful salad and spicy cold noodles are addictively delicious. Children all love the pineapple fried rice. You are able to adjust the dishes to your preferred salt, oil, garlic, spice level etc.

I love this spot and go often. My favorites are the spicy tofu, spicy potatoes, and green beans. And they make the best vegan dumplings I’ve ever had! I think about the dumplings a lot.
The food is meant to be family style and it’s nice to have at least a few people to order multiple things
