Visiting from Atlanta. I was a guest at the Le Méridien and decided to use my breakfast voucher. I ordered the steak and eggs. My steak was HEAVILY over seasoned, to the point that I could not finish it. It was saltier than salty. Everything else on my plate was fine. Since I could not finish the steak, I ordered a side of pork bacon, which was over-fried. I don’t like over-the-top, overdone bacon. I couldn’t finish it.
I mentioned to the lady behind the counter about how salty the steak was. She said she would bring it to the cook’s attention. But anyways, next time I stay at the Le Méridien, I’ll be sure to try something else off their breakfast menu.

Actually really great hotel food, breakfast was included in our room rate. We had the breakfast tacos one day and the brisket hash – both incredible. Huge portions. Fine coffee selection including cold brew, lattes, etc. They also have happy hour weekdays with $5 margaritas, beer and wine. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Upscale trendy decor. Perfect hangout if you’re staying at the hotel

Delicious brunch. Not many customers when we were there and seated in a cozy booth it seems the waitstaff forgot we were there. Had to wave them down several times for basics such as water, creamer, etc.But once we were on the radar the service was great. Beware the parking lot right across the street only allows full day parking (at least on Saturday). This was not obvious on any signs or the parking app so my friend and I each paid $31.50 to park in an empty parking lot for 1.5 hours. More to park than our yummy breakfast cost.

The customer service of the bartender was absouletly horrendous. He ignored me. Didn’t ask for the temperature of my burger and never even confirmed my order. After 15 minutes I got up and left. The customer service of the morning staff was exceptional, however the evening bartenders service, attitude, and professionalism was pisspour.

Unexpectedly delici-oso! The Crab cake was bursting with flavor and crab meat, thick as a double burger, seasoned and fried to golden perfection. The spinach was super creamy, cheesy and flavorful everything we tried had my taste buds tingling and tantalized! We were too full to try the shrimp cessation salad because the portions were much larger than expected. Cocktails were a decent size, strong and exactly as described. The prices were fair and well with the quality.

I’m entirely disappointed with my experience. I had planned a beautiful surprise sunset dinner for our anniversary, drinks at the rooftop Z on 23, and a dinner reservation at 6:30 PM for Zutro. This was going to be our first time visiting, so I had called and arranged everything 10 days in advance to make the surprise seamless. We arrive around 5:20 PM, and we go up to the 23rd floor. Closed, doors locked. We go back down to the reception, where the lady confirms the rooftop is closed. No reason given. Online, everything shows open. Disheartened, we walk around the city for an hour until the reservation time at 6:30 PM. No one greets us on the way in; the front desk is empty. The only lady working was the bartender, and she was running back and forth. We sat patiently at a random table, nothing. I moved to the bar to ask for assistance, and she said she would be right with me. More and more time passes, and I just let her know we will go elsewhere. She explains that the server didn’t come in today, and also let us know that the rooftop was closed due to ‘inclement weather’ when they already have heaters and such. I just gave up on the entire plan we were very excited for, and had our lovely anniversary down the street at ToroToro, and they were delightful. I would consider trying Z again if I weren’t worried that they would be randomly closed due to understaffing and laziness. What a shame.

My server was very good, polite and checked on me regularly. However, the fish tacos came out on single corn tortillas and completely fell apart and were impossible to eat as a taco. I just ate the filling with a knife and fork. Photo of the tortilla attached. But worst of all, the bartender went on a tirade to the manager and the whole restaurant could hear it. It was extremely unprofessional and I was uncomfortable sitting in the restaurant. I will not be back.

We visited the bar two evenings while staying here and had breakfast in the restaurant once. People next to us at the bar got burger and Caesar salad that looked and smelled amazing and they reported it was good. For breakfast we all had breakfast potatoes and different variations of eggs and sausage. The pork sausage is real big links, excellent if you like real sausage! The breakfast potatoes are amazing. Of no Emmanuel was working Saturday night at the bar. He was not only an excellent bartender excelling at his job He was a hard worker never once taking a moment for himself personally he was super attentive to the entire restaurant and his bar. He was a true artisan with the drinks and being able to sit and watch him make drinks and teaches about the drinks he was making was an absolute pleasure His old fashions and maple old fashions were top notch!

All of them pretending to be busy while half the restaurant was empty.
When I finally did get a table, the wait staff vanished.
No one turned up for 20 minutes while I waited before I finally decided to walk out.
The staff look like someone put a gun to their head and made them come to work.
Cold, unwelcoming and just plain disrespectful is how I would describe the restaurant and it’s staff.
Go there only if you don’t actually wish to eat.
