The food at Smoke Daddy’s Barbecue was genuinely very good. We ordered the brisket sandwich, brisket plate, classic burger, and fries, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. No complaints on taste at all, the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing!
Where the experience falls short is service. The soda fountain is located just outside the kitchen, so you have to ask a staff member for refills. That becomes frustrating when servers aren’t attentive or are busy talking among themselves. Having to leave your table to get someone’s attention just to refill a drink takes away from an otherwise great meal.
The restaurant itself is clean, and the pricing feels fair for the quality of food. If service were more attentive and the drink setup more convenient, this would easily be a higher rating. The food is strong, the service just needs improvement to match it.

Stopped by SmokeDaddies BBQ in Navasota and was seriously impressed. I had the brisket tacos and they were outstanding tender smoky and full of flavor. You can tell the brisket is done right.
What really made the experience special was the service. The brisket egg rolls were not even on the menu. Nick the owner took the time to make them personally. That kind of off menu effort and personal touch is rare and shows how much pride they take in their food and customers. They were so good I am hoping to see them on the menu soon.
The restaurant has great rustic charm and do not get confused walk straight to the back to order. It is part of the experience and fits the authentic BBQ vibe perfectly. Fantastic food great people and a place I will definitely be back to.

Wow!! What a find along our route back home! Had the Brisket Grilled cheese!!! Will get this each time through town ( only thing would change is type of bread-sweet Hawaiian or sourdough)
Hubby had the brisket tacos and pineapple sausage!!! All of it was so FLAVORFUL and really moist! Perfectly done right brisket! We had the banana pudding for dessert and had to wait for fresh bananas fabulous all over highly recommend

I don’t know if it was an off day or if I came to late (5pm on a Sunday) but this was my first time going. I ordered half a pound of mixed brisket and a full rack of the ribs and a small side of Mac and cheese, green beans and potato salad. And an order of the banana pudding. The brisket was a little tough and was too dry for our liking, we used the bbq sauce and it made it a little better. But the ribs. So disappointed, they were so dry and tough that we couldn’t eat them, I will try to refresh them with some bone broth in the cooker so it won’t go to waste. The potato salad was great and the green beans were good as well. The Mac and cheese was too watery to serve on the plate and had no seasoning or salt. The pudding was the best I’ve had in awhile though! They were sold out of chicken so we didn’t get to try it but I don’t think we will be back, it cost a little over $70 and I have almost the entire meal left because the meat is so tough and dry.

Recommended to us by a local shop in town as we were visiting. Wonderful brisket grilled cheese as well as the Blackberry Sage Margarita! Highly recommend stopping in and trying some delicious BBQ and cocktails.

I ate at Smoke Daddies for the first time and had a great experience. Had the brisket grilled cheese and it was great. Wonderful warm, melty taste cooked just right. The fries were great as well. I met Nick, the owner and we talked about marketing because they have recently transitioned to a restaurant from a food truck, and I run Jeff Garner Digital Marketing.
I highly recommend Smoke Daddies as a family friendly restaurant that was clean, welcoming with reliable great food. All the best for the Smoke Daddies team!

We stopped at Smoke Daddies late in Valentine’s Day, it was probably around 9:30 PM or close to 10:00, I can’t remember the exact time.
Anyway, we were tired and exhausted after spending the weekend in the Houston area attending a wrestling tournament.
Once inside the restaurant we were told that, unfortunately, they had already closed their kitchen, but we were welcome to have a drink or two.
A bit disappointed, my wife asked if they knew of a place that may be open at that time, trekking the owners about our weekend. They suggested a place nearby, and almost immediately went inside to check with their cooking staff if they’d be able to put something together for us
The best surprise of the night was that they were still able to serve us almost anything on their menu, lucky for us, they did manage to open their kitchen for us!
The better part of the night was the food! Oh my God, I ordered their brisket street tacos, on freshly made corn tortillas and my wife shared a plate of brisket quesadillas. They were both delicious!!!
Smoke Daddies was without a doubt a highlight of our weekend trip, we will make sure to stop by next time we drive down to Houston from our house in Dallas!

Happened to walk in after our Sunday scavenger hunt for a drink and a snack. Had a smoked lavender lemon drop martini which was amazing as the staff and food. Great atmosphere very inviting a must stop.
