Ordered special combination plate number 13, shrimp w. lobster sauce. When I opened the package it was shrimp in minced pork sauce. When I called to inquire about my order, I was told their shrimp with lobster sauce comes work ground pork? Since when does lobster sauce contain ground pork?

Such a hidden gem. They have a few tables but it is mostly takeout. Had a late flight home and picked Great Chef because they are open late. The Egg Rolls were old school with celery and pork. Absolutely delicious! These Boneless Spareribs were some of the most tender that I have ever had. Wings were crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Beef Teriyaki had great flavors and was tender. They do an amazing job with their Lobster Sauce! Great flavors without being salty. Highly recommend the food!

This is a great ,clean restaurant. I’m from Boston (North shore Area 20m North haha) and I’ve been living in East Boston for a while. This is the only Chinese food place I’ve always gone to. The food is great , the place is clean. They have the BEST Salt n Pepper anything.Old Dude Delivery driver is funny and the food is delivered before schedule. They speak English, mandarin, Spanish prolly Portuguese too. The portions and taste are satisfying

Love this place for Chinese food! They’re open until 4am. The service is fast, the food is hot and fresh. The price of the food is well worth it. The only thing I didn’t really feel comfortable waiting inside for my food. The tables were all full and everyone there was speaking Spanish (which i don’t understand, also let me say I wish I could speak and understand spanish.) So I just felt odd and out of place. I stood outside and waited for my food to be ready. Another great thing about this place they have little buzzer that vibrate to let you know your order is ready, so standing outside isn’t a hassle!! They also have a restroom for paying customers. The location is about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the Blue Line. A lot of people tend to go there after the bars let out because they’re open so late.

34 year life time resident of East Boston, I can 100% say best Chinese food in all East Boston. Don’t look elsewhere. If you want great Chinese food this is the place to grab a delicious bite. My order is usually Chicken fried rice which is phenomenal with general tso chicken yummy sweet and spicey, beef teriyaki and chicken wings which are the best. The price is a bit higher but thats also better quality food than any other Chinese restaurant. I love this place thank you for serving the Eastie community. I hope this place stays here for many more years to come.

I ordered delivery from here last week. I asked for extra spicy in my hot and sour soup and asked for mushrooms in my chicken & broccoli. The website said it would 30-40 minutes, but it arrived in less that 15 which was AWESOME. The food was nice and hot. The soup was not very spicy. The huge stalks of broccoli had to be cut up before I could eat it, I wish they had been cut a little smaller. It had really nice big pieces of white meat of chicken (these could have been a little smaller for ease of using chopsticks). However, it did not have the extra mushrooms I ordered. My son orders food from there regularly and loves it. I can chalk it up to just having an off day. I will give them another try.

I’ve been coming to this place since the 1980s and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever had even in New York. They serve the food with an Italian roll that compliments the dishes even more. Try the boneless spare ribs extra well done and the beef and broccoli. This place has one of the best pork fried rice ever do not miss the Greatest Chef for Chinese in Eastern.
