What a wonderfully, enjoyable, and pleasant home. Yes, I know its a coffee shop but it felt like home. I truly enjoyed the people, atmosphere, and the the kindness of the owner and staff. My family was searching for beignets and coffee after the Thanksgiving holiday and found the Coffee Depot. Although they were minutes from closing for the day they welcome us like family and remained open to give us a wonderful time. And as and added treat we picked up two of their signature coffee cups by Deneen Pottery. Just a wonderful place to go when your tank is low and you are seeking warmth, kindness and great beignets.

This is the cutest little breakfast place in Scott! Train themed decor everywhere, a little choo choose bell every time and order is up, a lot of food options at really good prices. My husband and I ordered a few things and shared. The pancakes were huge! The beignets were awesome. My only MINOR preference complaint is the grits and eggs didn’t have any season on them. This could be great for those watching calories, cholesterol, or sodium though. We added salt and pepper, but I would have liked real butter for the grits instead of vegetable oil spread, that adds no flavor for me. The bacon was the BEST, sausage was good, and we loved the chopped up sausage in the white gravy. The frozen coffee was really good as well!

Cute restaurant in an old train depot. You can hear the trains coming through on the tracks outside while you are eating. We had a long wait for a table on a Saturday morning but once seated the service was excellent. Delicious food and coffee drinks. I had the bacon croissant and my son had the waffles and bacon. Everything was so delicious. We also had the beignets which were served hot and fresh. Definitely would recommend for a delicious breakfast!

I always want to try this place, it’s very cool that was a train house long time ago (never ask about this place history) but outside is a small train wagon with table and asked if we can take our breakfast/brunch there and they say yes we can so was very cool eating there. Food was okay and the beignets were great.

The asthetic is cute and I love how they blow the train whistle when the food is ready, but ultimately it’s all about the food. The breakfast was pretty good, but nothing I couldn’t make myself at home. We both enjoyed our coffees.

I hate leaving bad reviews but if it helps thats why I do it. So this isn’t really a bad review its just a “MEH”. Came into town to vist family and wanted tobtake them out for a nice breakfast and they brought me here. I might be missing something mybe this aint a breakfast place just a coffee place.
Ok here goes. I had eggs,potatoes and budin plate. It was flavorless and disappointing. The deignet fingers were great thats really about it. The place was busy so normally service is on point. Nope not our section section. Any ways this place is very cool and everyone was having a great time mybe it was just me.

If you are in Scott LA or on I 10 going by it STOP! Its amazing adorable and gives u an authentic taste of new orleans. 6 large Beignets and largeChickory coffee for under 12 bucks in an adorable setting of an old rail depot (thus the name). They have a decent size menu as well lots more than beignets. This place made my morning! What a great find along us I10.

Awesome spot for breakfast. I will have to come back and try the lunch.
This is the only place I know around that does scrambled eggs with cheese and diced bell peppers/tomatoes (without having to order an omelette).
Tasty breakfast potatoes and delicious biscuit sandwich!
I will be back to try the beignets and other items.
