I’d like to give 3.5, was really excited to try this jawn, but it just wasn’t that good. The service was good, but the food just lacked flavor and it just didn’t hit the spot. It was our first time there and we brought another couple with us who felt the same. By no means bad, just not “great”. It does have nice ambience, but also closes really early even on Fridays.

We had a relatively good experience eating at Cafe Di Lorenzo’s for dinner. We were seated promptly and it was not busy at all. The service was excellent and the waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a couple of nice dinner specials too. Our dinners came with a small salad and bread. We ordered a chicken parmigiana and a cheese lasagna. The chicken was a small piece and had an odd taste to it, almost spongy. There was also very little rigatoni pasta. The lasagna was much better and the both of us agreed it was a much tastier choice. In general though, especially compared to other local Italian restaurants, we would have expected more generous portions at the menu prices. Overall, this was a decent dinner option if you were looking for a local Italian place in Bradenton.

6/01/2024, First Customers and everything went flawlessly. The service was spectacular, the food was delightful and the atmosphere was inviting.
We dined inside for lunch and were very comfortable. There were 3 of us and we each had the Chicken Parmigiana and an order of Garlic Bread. It was terrific.
The Garlic Bread was crunchy on the outside with a soft, toasted center, served with a bowl of Fresh Tomato Sauce and garnished with Fresh Basil. The Chicken Parmigiana was a fresh cutlet, paired with Rigatoni, Fresh Tomato Sauce and garnished with Fresh Basil. The Chicken was very tender and the pasta was al dente.
All of the people working thanked us and each stopped by our table. We felt as though we were dining with La Famiglia (Family).
Located in Downtown Bradenton on the corner of Sixth Avenue West and Tamiami Trail (14th St W). They are dog-friendly when dining Al fresco.

Authentic food and people. The owners are very involved with making your experience enjoyable. Specials are very good too! We found a good Italian wine there that is pretty hard to find anywhere else.

I wanted traditional spaghetti and Italian food and this was the perfect place! I was so eager to eat my food that I didn’t snap pictures of all of our items but I tried the eggplant, spaghetti and meat sauce , and tiramisu. All of my food was delicious and flavors true to the authentic Italian cuisine. The service was great and everyone was so kind and loving. Everything was made to order super fresh , so be patient and don’t come hangry but by all means please stop in and support a beautiful family owned business with delicious food! We shall return ☺️

We tried this new Italian Cafe twice…..and had two different experiences.
First of, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a personalized visit the first time sitting at the bar talking with staff, being a slow time there.
They offer beer, wine and coffee. We had a few appetizers. The artichokes were really good and can’t say we’ve had those any where else in this area. We also had the eggplant rollatini and it was wonderful too. I had to try the pistachio cake…..it was good….
The second time we went we also sat at the bar and again staff friendly. This time it was busier and it was apparent they were overwhelmed, being short staffed. We probably wouldn’t have noticed but it kept being mentioned to everyone who walked in. They probably could have saved time with salads by pre-making them. We ordered a pizza and app. It was a slower service but they were short staffed…..they did the beat they could. I think once they have the personnel this will be a fantastic spot.

Wow, Bradenton is stepping up by getting family based restaurauters attracted to set up shop here. The owner has owned multiple family restaurants over his 50 year career. The food is absolutely authentic Italian, still made by the chef himself. Famous 5 times for making the world’s largest pizzas (Guinness Book) is just a cool side note. The portions are fantastic, prices are excellent. There is another Italian place in close proximity, completely different feel, and just not as warm. I rate them equally in their space, but the feel of each is very different. Corporate styled restaurant and then the family owned that just has a great family feel, service and general authenticity. Wine/Beer only, no liquor for now. Very good and affordable wine options. Good for groups to.

Loved the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, bruschetta and limoncello spritz. The Alfredo portion was huge and probably enough for 2-3 meals.

Beautiful family owned restaurant! It’s a new place with few staff members but everyone is really nice and professional. Chef Lorenzo makes some mean dishes! His wife Marina works the front with the servers. It was a great experience all around, the red sauce and meat sauce are delicious! Definitely a place you would want to take wifey out on a special night!!!!
