The Starbucks in South El Monte is such a wonderful place to stop for a coffee break. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and what really stands out is how enthusiastic they are when you ask questions about the drinks. They take the time to explain different options and make sure you feel confident that you’re ordering something you’ll truly enjoy.
One thing I highly recommend trying is the Impossible breakfast sandwich. It’s completely meatless and absolutely delicious, and it’s a great option whether you’re vegetarian or just looking to try something different.
I also suggest ordering your coffee and food “for here.” They’ll serve it in a coffee mug and on a plate, which really transforms the experience. Instead of rushing out, it allows you to slow down, settle in, and enjoy a moment of restoration during your break with a warm drink and a treat.
Overall, this location creates such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, and I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the South El Monte area.

I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso and this location had messed it up by forgetting the brown sugar or cinnamon, this is not the first time it has happened. They’ll normally remake it not an issue. This time they handed it back to me like this. Wanted to charge us extra to fill it to the line it was at before. I want went to Starbucks at this location at 10:20 PM when it said they closed at 11… once I got there they told us that they were already closed because they closed at 10:30.
