What an unbelievable spot! The sampler platter was amazing! Loved the Turkish coffee and dessert. The folks there are so nice and everything is super fresh. Try the lemon mint drink… the best!

Me and my son stopped in here last night to check out the downtown jazz fest, and then have dinner. We both really enjoy Mediterranean style restaurants. Luckily when we got there, it was not too crowded and we were able to get a seat at the outside tables. It definitely had a vibe of being in New York City with sitting out on the sidewalk right by the street just watching the cars go by and listening to the beautiful music That that was playing from their culture through the speakers. Our waitress Madison was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and on point and checked back with us frequently to see if we needed anything very accommodating young woman. The food was absolutely delicious. Their hummus is some of the better that I’ve ever eaten, and the prices are very, very reasonable, especially in today’s climate. The restaurant is very clean. The food is amazing. There is parking pretty much directly across the street in a parking garage or you could potentially find street parking if you wish. Scranton is a really cool town to go visit for the day. A lot of history, some beautiful architecture Just some really neat things to see if you’re ever up this way and you’re looking for an absolutely amazing on point restaurant to have lunch or dinner be sure to stop in at the garden.

wish I had read the newer reviews before ordering! this was a huge disappointment. I ordered the NYC gyro bowl, falafel bowl, and hummus, and the total came out to $60+ which makes absolutely no sense for the quality and ingredients.

The gyro bowl claimed to have salad but was basically all rice. The white sauce was genuinely bad, and the falafel was extremely dry. The hummus was the only decent item, good pine nuts and garbanzo beans on top, but one good side doesn’t justify the price.

I still cannot figure out how the pricing works. Was each item really $20+ each? If the food had been good, I wouldn’t be this annoyed, but it was not. Very disappointing, and I honestly wish I could get a refund.

Ordered mix grill and mujadara which were excellent in taste. The chicken and lamb kebab were cooked perfectly. The salad served was fresh with nice tang to it. The service was excellent as the person suggested us lemon mint juice which was very refreshing. Also he kept asking us periodically whether he needed anything else. The only negative was that food price were high and the serving was low compared to the price. Also, they charged service fee beforehand and there is extra charge for using credit card for payment.

My first time at the garden last night and it was 100/10. I cannot wait to return. The freshly prepared and never frozen meals were to die for. With a menu thats predominantly vegan and gluten free this place could easily fit into your dietary needs. Colorful presentations and the staff is top shelf. The Dubai chocolate desserts and plates of fruit were such a treat after a long day.

Lovely Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Scranton! Everything was delicious; the lemon mint juice, falafel, soup, and the salmon wrap!! The food came quickly and the service was impeccable too! We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been here twice. Once with my book club and we dined al fresco, which makes it more challenging to flag down a server when you need something. I’ve also gone on a date with my husband and sat indoors on First Fridays which definitely got more busy as the evening lengthened.

The food is wonderfully seasoned and beautifully plated every time. Their seasoned flatbread is not to be missed. I’d go JUST for that as an appetizer. Authentic mediterranean dishes meant for sharing for the best experience.

Their desserts are mostly not made in house, but brought in from NY I think they said. I’ve shared a dessert before, and it was good, but pricey for the small serving.

Go for the apps and mains and have an appetite! I love this place and will return!

Food was some of the best Lebanese food I’ve ever had, I went with my friend from Egypt and he said it was like going back home and that the food was authentic. Food was tasty with unique flavor profiles and experiences that is hard to find in America nowadays. If you go there keep an open mind as if you’re used to ethnicity homogeneous food then it might be a bit jarring. The atmosphere is wonderful with culturally rich decor and friendly staff. The menu choices were broad and all excellent so far and the dessert selection was very pleasantly presented. From what I’ve had there isn’t anything that I disliked yet!
