I grew up on Fillmore, they were a lot of iconic small local businesses around that died out went the changes in the city. This was one of them, and now they’re BACK!! And it tastes the same, same family same recipe.
This is not like steak subs you get from all the common places. It’s old school, very hearty and juicy, it’s pretty much from a lost culture. Rick’s, it’s good to have you home.

just like back in the day on Genesee St , even better so glad your back and a black owned business . I only eat chicken turkey and fish but when I get a taste for steak sandwhich Rick’s is my go to ;D

Hmmmm . Ok, let me start off by saying I really enjoyed my steak sub. I’ve been eating Rick’s Steaks since ‘1986, and have visited every store he’s had.
My issue is/was, you guys phone is never operational and the numbers is/was not listed. Maybe it’ll be corrected by the time this is posted. I drive a distant and pre-order would have made me not wait 30 minutes for 2 Steak Sandwiches.
One of my sandwiches wasn’t correct at all but, it was tasty and enjoyable. The person taking my order did say the order was a little confusing but he explained if it was wrong just let him know and he’ll make good on it. Again no answer on the phone and I’m sure I won’t be remembered. But with all that being said… I’ll be returning again soon and hopefully the phone is working.
And I will have my order written down

Heard about your hoagies on a food review. My husband picked up 2 chicken hoagies, one was chopped fine. Delicious delicious, right amount of sauce ,onions . We will be back !
