First time here. Definitely not the last!
We stopped in after reading the good reviews.
Everything we had for breakfast was amazing! The omelettes, the French toast, the pancakes. All excellent!
The prices are very fair for the quality that you get.
The service and hospitality is awesome!
You definitely feel like you are appreciated as a customer!

This was our first time visiting this place. There weren’t many people in there maybe about three couples so there wasn’t much of a wait. The waitress came to our table right away and she was polite and helpful. We placed our orders and received our meals within about 15 minutes. The food was good, biscuits were a little bit flat but you could tell that they’re homemade. Prices were pretty decent we probably will visit again sometime.

Heard many great things about this place…food and service was ok. Unfortunately my bisquits and gravy were VERY cold upon arrival. They took it back and got me fresh ones. The bisquits were very thin compared to thick bisquits served many other places. Hash browns and sausage were decent. Our waitress seemed very disinterested in us the whole time. Overall just not a great experience unfortunately.

I went in early one Wednesday before work. The sever, I belive her name was Jannett, was very lovely, I enjoyed seeing her talk to the regulars like they were all friends. Delicious food, everything tasted fresh and home-cooked. I will definitely be coming back. It made this bigger town of Pekin IL, feel like the kindest small town. Five stars

Sorry about the half-eaten breakfast pictures. We were so surprised at how great the food was! Especially the biscuits! When we got those flat ugly biscuits, I figured they were a mistake and almost sent them back. Boy am I glad I didn’t! They were fabulous! Tasted like they were grilled in a cast iron skillet with loads of butter! Crispy and delicious on the outside and fluffy and perfect like my Grandma made in the middle. Once we got started eating, we forgot all about pictures until we were almost done. Believe me, it looked great, too.
I had to take a picture of those wooden walls. I was kind of concerned having bare wooden walls in these germ fearing days, but believe it or not, they were some sort of wall covering! I literally had to touch it to be sure! Bravo on making it look old-timey but keeping us healthy.

Well, we used to enjoy going here for breakfast, today however we paid the $20 tab left the food and are now in Tremont at Jack’s to eat. The food was terrible!!! We ordered a Meat lovers skillet … the potatoes, onions, and peppers weren’t cooked and the toast was hard. I think it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

We have lived here in the Pekin area for seventeen years and just discovered this place. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was awesome and the staff were awesome. Definitely going back to here again.
