We ordered cupcakes for my son’s birthday party. The ordering process was really easy and despite my vauge description of what I wanted (Camping Themed) they nailed it! I would highly recommend using them for all your dessert needs!

Loved stopping in to have lunch and grab goodies to take home to the family. The owner and her staff are all so personable and greet you as soon as you come in the door. They are happy to answer any questions you have and accommodate your personalized order for baked goods.
Came in on Thursday for their Chicken and Dumplings, which are amazing. You can tell they take pride in the quality and quantity of their food as well as the presentation.
They make amazing hand made breads as well – make sure to take home a loaf of the Salt Rise if it’s available.
Took home cupcakes to the family. They asked when we were going back for more. The chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting was amazing.

Went there to get a few cupcakes for a friend’s birthday that night. Unfortunately, I didn’t know at the time they were only open for advanced reservations. The owner opened the door and asked what I needed and was so sweet to accommodate my request! She invited me in to wait while she decorated the cupcakes and offered a drink while I waited in her ADORABLE restaurant. She packed and packaged the cupcakes beautifully and thoughtfully. I asked for different flavors and they were ALL DELICIOUS! We didn’t even know one was vegan!
I later found out that she can accommodate for breakfast, lunch, dinners, or events at her restaurant with advanced notice. She even caters! The only reason she’s not open is because it’s just her and can’t get any help.
Seeing and tasting what she can do is amazing and I’d definitely go to More Than Cakes again for any event! Great venue for a tea party/ bridal shower/ brunch… if you talk with her, she’ll make it happen!

Between the two of us all the meals here have been amazing. Better than we expected compared to the cost.
He loves the sausage and gravy for breakfast and I love the bake goods.
Everything definitely seems homemade and will definitely take friends and family when they visit.

More Than Cake catered a Thanksgiving meal for my workplace with little notice and it was absolutely out of this world delicious! Turkey, dressing, green beans, corn pudding, mashed potatoes, and banana pudding! Everything was home made, delivered on time, and was not your run of the mill food! Everything at this establishment, from the breakfasts, lunch specials, and desserts, is made from scratch, cooked to order, and leaves you wanting more, more, more!!! HIGHLY recommend everything on the menu! And the owner and staff are always friendly, accommodating, and truly salt of the earth people!

Club sandwich is excellent! Put together to not fall apart and was appreciated. It’s very large and can feed two easily. Iced tea was a rich, full flavored and wonderful. The Paris Brest (dessert) is the finest brest I have ever had! Seating is comfortable and sufficient. Decor is bright and cheerful. Parking on the street isn’t great but there is more in back. Worth the drive from Lexington.

I stop in for lunch on a Friday, it was my first visit, and I was very disappointed. I had to wait on someone to take my order (only one person working, I think). I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and it was gross. The chicken was chewy, no flavor, and the bread was toasted but soggy. I left hungry and disappointed. Waste of my 10 dollars. Will not be back. Should of went to Galvin’s which I highly recommend.
