Scrumptious. Absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the atmosphere specifically of this restaurant it’s so cute. I love the house that it’s in it’s a beautiful white homestead with a relaxing porch and rocking chairs and a wonderful patio that outlooks the water.
I saw many large parties come in and it seems like a go to spot for locals, but it was also great for a solo meal. I adored the crab dip appetizer. I tried shrimp po boy for the first time here and ate jambalaya as well!
My server was very kind I sadly didn’t catch her name but she was lighter brown/dirty blonde hair and very polite and attentive. She must’ve saw me falling asleep at my table because she brought me two cups of coffee LOL.
This is a great place to go if you want a quiet peaceful lunch or dinner atmosphere. Or a good spot to go to to grab a drink or quick appetizer before one of the swamp tours!

I cannot stress enough how much we absolutely loved it here. After a rough start to our vacation, finding this spot for dinner was a saving grace. The Crab Dip is out of this world and brought out my emotions, let me tell you. I had the Crab Cakes for my meal and they were *delicious*. My fiance had the Catfish Mardi Gras, and he loved it! Our waitress was super kind and came back to check on us and get us a refill. I even got alligator earrings on our way out! Thank you to the group that was working on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025. You made our day so much better with your hospitality and food.

We ate here two days in a row it was that good. I had the Creole white beans with andouille and shrimp yesterday and the Mardi Gras catfish smothered in crawfish étouffée today. Both were excellent but the Mardi Gras catfish was AMAZING. 10/10.

OH MY GOD we came here on vacation and did the swamp tour and came here to have some good New Orleans food. We have been here for two days, and this is the first time we feel completely satisfied with the quality of service the ambience the server the quality of food is not overly salty seasoned just right I mean, I don’t even know what else to say about this place but I feel very satisfied. I got the crawfish pie and my friend got the braised beef and we had two swamp waters each as well as some waters with a side of bread pudding. Every single thing we were served was hot on time to serve with a smile and perfectly flavorful. Let me not forget the manager was our server and she was AMAZING so genuine I could feel it! ❤️❤️

This place was amazing from the moment I stepped inside! Amy was so friendly and made sure I felt welcomed. I didn’t catch the other lady’s name but she was super sweet as well.
The food is top notch! I indulged in the crab dip for my appetizer and for my main dish I ordered the Seafood platter. Everything that was on that plate was amazing!! I highly suggest as a Texan visiting here to definitely try this place out.

Been dining here for years, very well managed, service is great and respectful of your presence! Food portion sizes are of quality and and reasonably priced for today’s market! Had seafood platter, fresh from seafood lot and nice sizes too. I have not ate anything yet not worthy! Keep up the great job and fresh seafood from the lot!

Ambience is reminiscent of an old southern home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the service is good and the food is outstanding. We have eaten here several times and even brought out of town guest to get a taste of down home seafood. The porch area is inviting, the view of the dock and the fishing fleet causes one to linger. Highly recommend and definitely will go back.
