We had an outstanding experience at Walker’s Drive-In. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, making it ideal for a relaxed but special night out. Walker’s Drive-In is a great local spot with a laid-back, welcoming vibe. I had the Walker’s burger with sweet potato fries, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The burger was juicy and satisfying, and the fries were a solid side choice.

Walker’s Drive-In never disappoints! We hadn’t been in a while, but everything was better than ever. The service was excellent, and the food is hands-down some of the best in Jackson.
We came on a Thursday and appreciated that they were open until 9—perfect timing for us. The place was clean, comfy, and had a great vibe. It was busy, so we had to park a couple of blocks away, but it was well worth it.
We had the Wagyu, lobster skewers, and a glass of Josh Chardonnay—everything was incredible. The truffle fries and side potatoes were seasoned to perfection.
Our waiter was fantastic—super attentive and rocking a great mustache! We even gave him a compliment on it.
We love that Walker’s still holds onto its original charm. My husband and I will absolutely keep coming back… and we can’t wait to try more of the menu!

I had lunch around 11 on a Thursday at Walker’s Drive In. We walked in and were stated immediately. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is top notch. The food is top quality and priced great. The service was very quick but still allowed us to enjoy the food! Business did seem to pick up closer to 12, but service stayed on top. I will definitely be back for lunch! I can’t wait to try dinner!

This place was amazing. When I got there, it was still light out and it looked like a total dive from the outside. Once you walk through the door, it was magical. I sat at the food bar and watched the staff work. I had a flash fried softshell crab (to die for) with a garlic cream sauce; followed by two foie gras on a Butter soak crostini with a berry salty sauce (heavenly). Finished with a blueberry upside down corn cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. The bartender made me a delicious mock tail. Everyone was super friendly. I would return to Jackson, Mississippi just to eat at Walkers again.

I have been to many restaurants in different cities. Tonight on Valentine’s Day was the first time out of my 37 years of living by the grace of god was I ever told that in order for us to serve you and your wife we have to pay 155 a piece to dine. Immediately it felt like an old movie I watch and the movie said because of who you are you can’t dine here in the state of Mississippi. To remind you this is 2026 and i am saddened because of the foolish that still goes on in these southern states well let just say Mississippi. Bad service we left because we was force to pay for fees and food that we did not want. Walker Dunn inn and the owner I need for you to wipe away the past and catch up to 2026.

Excellent food and service. The red fish with lump crab was amazing! Wonderful flavors cooked right. The red snapper with mushrooms and capers was also a real treat. Alex was a pleasure to deal with and provided excellent, friendly service while answering questions and making suggestions. Then to top it all off we delighted in the Mississippi peach fried pie, dusted with cinnamon and sugar served with a vanilla bean ice cream and white chocolate sauce. It was absolute heaven. Crisp and clean flavor. Not overly sweet or oily tasting. Sheer perfection. You cannot go wrong dining at Walker’s Drive-In.
