Girlfriend was denied service because of her vertical ID (although she is 22 and the ID is non expired). Bartender rudely shouted across the other end of the bar that they don’t take vertical IDs despite absolutely zero signs stating so. Waiting for God to shine his light on this place AKA owner finally sells it.

We walked into mostly dirty tables. No big deal. Only the bartender was serving food, and she was working her tail off. The food was not good. We ordered the patty melt medium rare, and it came out well done and very dry. The breaded mushrooms were way overdone. The other patrons of the bar did not make it a pleasant experience. Too much overconfident men who have to show their masculinity by hitting on women and disrespecting them. That can be chalked up to the night, but still, the food was bad. It was so bad I didn’t look for fire sprinklers.

I have to revise my review from 3 years ago. I have always loved their pizza. Today for my birthday we got 2 pizzas and wings. We spent $60. I believe that’s a fair price for great pizza. The pizza today was horrible. It consisted of a gooey sloppy undercooked mess. The crust was hard on the bottom like cardboard. I hope this was a one time problem for them. They 2 stars are for the great beer coupled with the -1 star pizza.

Very warm and cozy windowless bar and family restaurant. Served really delicious food every time I was here. Hands down the best pizza in Detroit I’ve had.
They have all the common beers on tap and also a few craft beers. Very friendly and lovely atmosphere. Fast service and good.
I would recommend this place over any chain of restaurants for pizza.

This bar is not trendy, but they make a really good fish and chips! The staff is really friendly and there are plenty of comfy places to sit. I asked if they had N/A beers and they only had O’Douls. It would be nice if they added a few more N/A options, but otherwise pretty nice place. I live a bit farther away, so it isn’t somewhere I’ll probably go regularly, but I would go again if asked:)

We stopped here randomly for dinner after playing disc golf nearby. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the BBQ burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in some time. They had a good selection of draft beer as well. We will definitely be back!

First time eating here and the pizza was ok, nothing special. Kinda like a knock off buddy’s / loui’s, pricey too. But still almost ate the whole thing. It’s a very heavy dough and cheese. Like a brick in your stomach. Can’t say you won’t be full!
