Good experience with good food.
Service was young but very friendly.
The only complaint is the Flank Steak Appetizer was sliced with the grain instead of against it (slicing against the grain would have made it a better eat).
All items cooked properly to desired temps.

Being from NY, I have high standards for steakhouses. So coming in, I didn’t have high expectations but to get a culture shock… That I did not expect. I have been to hundreds of steakhouses in my lifetime and this was the first time, when the waiter asked me “what would you like to drink” and I said S.Pellegrino please, he looked at me like I was an alien . He proceeded to give me a drinking menu, which I had to explain, it’s not an alcoholic beverage just sparkling water, he looked mad and walked away and disappeared. Thanks to the owner (young lady) walked by and said can I serve you, took my order and even blessed me with a cheesecake on the house. Humble and sweet for an owner. Now let’s talk about the food. The cowboy steak was salty and thin sliced for a cowboy steak.

Ate here twice so far definitely the best place in Cedar Rapids for a steak its only competition is texas roadhouse with that being said i ordered a 50 dollar delmonico ribeye the first one they brought was burned and almost well done when they brought back the replacement it was a New York strip or sirloin cut still still slightly over cooked when ordering Pittsburgh rare but the fact they lied and said no its just a thicker long cut ribeye like I didn’t know they deserve a lower rating but the first time I went the cowboy ribeye was cooked properly. Two different times two different days (Saturday for the cowboy Thursday for the delmonico) mac and cheese was good picture of the delmonico ribeye one cut through the center to check cook you judge

Trinity was our server & told us she was new, it was a very busy night and she did a good job. Coconut shrimp were amazing, wife said the best she’s had since growing up on the Gulf Coast. Short rib on mashed potatoes was very generous portions & very tasty. Bar service is very good, too. We’ve recently also had perfectly prepared steaks. A new must place for us.

I went there tonight with my wife. The service was very good. The Duck Wonton was good. Drinks good. Food was not edible. I don’t want a free meal or a discount. I want what you offer on your menu that I order. We are not able to be together for Valentines so did this instead. I apologized to her.

This was well worth the drive we took to get here. The food was spectacular! We happened to pick a night that the weather wasnt so good so we didnt have alot of other people around so it made it very intimate which was nice. It is very pretty decor as well!

Hubby and I visited for Valentine’s Day and loved it. Hubby had the Porterhouse and I had the Delmonico, they were probably the best steaks we’ve had in our lives. We were happy to catch the last few moments of happy hour for the well-made drinks! We also love that we were given the option to add chocolate-covered strawberries when confirming our reservation.
