Delicious, fresh and flavorful! Dr. Falafel has incredible food. We stopped in here for lunch and we were so pleased with everything we ordered. We just kept saying “yum” while eating. The food is perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The sauces are what makes this place stand out! The tikka masala sauce takes the falafel sandwich to a whole other level. The kibbeh was fantastic and the burekas was amazing as well. The place is clean and welcoming. Both owners were there when we visited and they were so kind and accommodating. We love this spot! It’s a great addition to downtown Westfield.

I’ve been craving good falafel for ages, and this place completely blew me away. The falafel pita sandwich is perfection: crispy, flavorful falafel balls packed into the softest, freshest pita bread I’ve had in forever. It doesn’t get soggy or fall apart—everything stays perfectly wrapped and delicious from the first bite to the last. The rice bowls are hands-down the best in the entire area too—generous portions, perfectly seasoned rice, and all the fresh toppings and sauces make it so satisfying.
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every time I go in or order. You can tell they care about the food and the customers. This is only my third visit (I’ve already ordered twice before this one), but it keeps pulling me back whenever that falafel craving hits. Nothing else nearby comes close—seriously, if you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try it. You won’t be disappointed!

I was visiting Yestercades, and saw Dr Falafel across the street. I popped in and was immediately warmly welcomed. I’m a falafel and gyro fan, but I had never had shwarma. So I ordered the lamb and beef Shwarma with hummus on a Pita. As I waited I was offered a sample of soup, so I tried their bean soup. It was very tasty. Then my packed pita arrived. I only hoped it tasted as good as it looked, it in fact was better. Not only packed with ingredients, it was packed with deliciousness.
Dr. Falafel is a great addition to this, or any neighborhood.

The chicken shawarma sandwich was incredibly fresh and juicy. We also tried the lamb rice platter and loaded fries – everything was packed with flavor and high-quality ingredients.
Don’t miss the oven-fresh pita and their amazing green sauce..

This is a new spot in Westfield, right in the heart of downtown. Very friendly service, amazing taste and reasonable pricing for the quality. Their hummus, shawarma and sauces are a delight. Also only if the best falafel I have had anywhere, definitely what the doctor ordered.

Amazing food and a wonderful family experience! The kids couldn’t get enough of the freshly baked breads and falafel. The chicken kebabs and chicken shawarma were hands down some of the best we’ve had.

OMG I walked in the door, hadn’t had a bite all day, by 3:30 pm I sure was hungry….I Decided on Dr. Falafel, and so happy I did for all I chose was delicious, fresh, tasty, eye catching, and palate pleasing!!!
The owner, I was told, was the same from gent from former Millburn Restaurant-Pita on Essex!
I had dined there several times while open and loved all entrees there as well. So happy they are now in Westfield!!
