Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was nice. The ambiance was a bit of a fine dining vibe, but felt comfortable. The service was good and they were happy to take the cake we brought to the back and hold it for us. I had the salmon dish and would say it was good, but I’d go back to try some other dishes. It’s quite pricey, but I’d give it another go.

Very nice inside. The fireplace should have been on. We were seated at 5 PM with brunch menus. No ads say BYOB. My seafood dinner was good. Salmon was dry. The burger was dry, overcooked, like in a warming tray for a while. Can I substitute rice for potatoes? “No, the chef will not do that.” Can I have tomato soup instead of a salad? “I don’t care.” Quirky for sure.

I have been coming to Kunkle‘s for many years. The food and service are always great. Tonight I had the scallops appetizer served in the shell. This was a special, but if they have it again, I would highly recommend it. Also, don’t miss the cheesecake freeze dessert. Our favorite is the peach. Our waitress Tatihana was awesome. Can’t wait to our next visit.

First impressions are EVERYTHING! Kunkel’s is Amazing! Top notch service, food, and atmosphere! Denise was our “go to girl” and very helpful with the menu and knew just what we liked. Her suggestions were spot on. I highly recommend Kunkel’s and can’t wait to go back. Made us feel like family, when we were there.

Went to Kunkel’s today with my mom, and wow! This place is something special. They’ve been around for 21 years, and you can feel the love and experience in every part of the meal. Our waitress, Denese, was so kind and welcoming, and shared that it’s a family-owned restaurant. That really stuck with me. Carol was also so sweet, it genuinely felt like we were having dinner with family.
The space is quaint, cozy, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your food.
We started with the bacon-wrapped scallop, and it was incredible. Creamy, fresh, perfectly grilled, with a dressing that was bright and refreshing.
The house salad was also a standout. I tried both the balsamic and roasted red pepper vinaigrettes, and both were bursting with flavor. Definitely homemade, and definitely delicious.
For my main, I had the beef bordelaise; so tender, meaty, and comforting. Every bite was flavorful and cooked just right. My mom had the honey-glazed pork chop, and it was honestly unforgettable. Super tender, premium cut, perfectly glazed. The kind of dish that makes you close your eyes for a moment and just feel it. The mashed potatoes on the side were creamy, full-bodied, and clearly homemade.
Also loved the fried onions! crispy, light, and just the right texture.
We finished with the pound cake, and it was the perfect end to the meal. Airy, soft, and just sweet enough.
Bonus points for being BYOB, which always makes things feel a little more personal.
Kunkel’s is officially on my list of favorite spots. Amazing food, heartfelt service, and just a beautiful energy all around. I’ll definitely be back.

I have no idea how this place has anything less than 5 stars. The food was the best food I have ever tasted. I got the black angus peppercorn crusted filet and it was cooked to absolute perfection and so tender! We also got the cheesecake freeze which is exclusive to kunkles and let me tell you, it was truly indescribable. The texture was so thick and creamy. We got the thai calamari which was a HUGE portion and had the perfect thai sauce. The lovely lady at the front was so pleasant and even helped clear plates off of our table. It was quite and relaxed too. Would 100% recommend this place. Will be back again!!!

Had the best meal tonight! Would highly recommend the calamari – some of the best I’ve ever had! The clams casino, French onion soup, and stuffed mushroom were great. All of the food was well seasoned & cooked to perfection. Our steak and lobster was 10/10. On top of the delicious food, everyone here was so friendly and nice. Can’t wait to come back 🙂

You’ll always be greeted like your family that they haven’t seen in a long time! The servers know exactly what’s in the menu and how to describe the dishes to a “T”! The dining room is quaint and quiet with a fireplace in the corner. But the most important part of this review, the food. All the meats, seafood and veggies are completely fresh! Each dish is made to order, prepared and cooked perfectly! I have never had a bad meal. You can see, smell and taste the love and devotion the entire staff puts into making your dining experience, the best!
Three things you MUST order. Their calamari truly the best I’ve ever had. After your meal they have frozen cheesecake that’s served like ice cream. Made in house. My favorite, cinnamon roll bread pudding! I offer make a special trip just to get that!

I took my daughter to Kunkels the other night for her birthday dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. My daughter got the crab cakes & I got the beef dinner, service was excellent and we both took half home for another night’s dinner. That was my first time eating at that restaurant & I will definitely be returning again soon.

Very slow at bringing food out from kitchen. When presented, it was clear food sat under warming lights, getting cold. For example $65 steak was actually cold. Sent back. Another person’s food apparently had minimal, if any, seasoning. Long gaps between courses. Waitress kept apologizing but was not her fault. Would NOT recommend.
