Big plates and good food. Atmosphere is 3 stars because it’s a food cart, update got to try the 808 chili and I will say I will get it again then was told about mixing the Mac salad in it and now I will always buy a side with the chili. Still big plates of food and again customer service is still top tier.

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for this place. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat lunch and for sure some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve had in town. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I’ve had almost everything on the menu. Their Loco Moco is next level. (Definitely recommend getting grilled onions on it) The fried chicken is my favorite go to. Their Mac salad is fire. The sauces are phenomenal. The guys working there are always very personable and friendly. Yeah. I love this place.

Maybe I am just a sucker for my local Hawaiian spot in Hillsboro, but I love 808 grinds. The food is great, and the sauces make everything better. The habanero teriyaki, spicy mayo, and sweet wasabi sauce add a lot of variety to the meal! Overall I’d give 808 an 8.3/10

One of the best food carts in Portland! And I will go out on the limb and say it’s the best Hawaiian Grindz in the PNW. The 808 combo plate was delicious. Their sauces elevate the flavor the protein. They recommend all sauces if you are unsure what to choose. Plus, they are at Gigantic. So grab a beer and some Ono grindz.
