Menudo is a hard NO! Bowl of grease. No hominy hardly any meat as you can see in the picture. Texas burrito was great! Would’ve been less stars if we had just got the menudo. The burrito bumped it up a few stars.

The food was decent. The carne asada was fresh. Rice was good. The beans were dry. I’m not a fan of enchilada sauce on tamales but they weren’t bad.

We visited this new restaurant on Sunday morning. When you walk in, the lady at the front is very nice and lets you check out the menu before ordering. You place your order first and then sit down.
I tried the menudo, three tacos, and an agua de pepino. I’ve been looking for a good menudo, and while it was well cooked, I felt it could use more spices for flavor. The tacos, unfortunately, were cold and the meat was overcooked—especially the pastor, which came out crispy. On the bright side, the agua de pepino was delicious and refreshing.
My husband ordered the barbacoa breakfast burrito and rated it a 6/10. They also have a salsa bar and fountain drinks, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is small but has a pleasant atmosphere.
Overall, it was an okay first visit. I’d like to give them another try and order something different to see how it goes.

The place is nice the food is great, but unfortunately the customer experience is what makes this a terrible place. What good is the great food if they can’t get the orders right? We ordered 4 Burleson Burritos and 3 Carne Asada by Door Dash. When the burritos arrived, we had 6 burleson burritos and 1 carne asada. This wasn’t the first time they messed up our order, but it will be the last.

First time here, menudo is good.. I always add spices to menudo, I never eat it straight out of the kitchen.. diced jalapeños, diced cilantro, crushed peppers, salsa and a squeeze of lime! Delicious! Also came with 4 tortillas of your choice.

I had been wanting to try this place, we live close by. I gotta say, the salsas are good, i tried 4 outta 5. The orchata is good, i was happy to not get a full cup of ice. The chicken enchiladas had more onion than chicken. Rice and beans were alright. Carne asada burrito had a good taste and was juicy but it was very salty. I had to add sour cream at home, and still was salty. I might give them another chance, but this time, i was a bit disappointed.

I was so disappointed with the restaurant. So many people were raving about the Burleson location so I had hoped this one would be good.
The esthetics were nice. Tables are pretty. The place was cool. I was worried it would be hot because it was so small and the kitchen is so close to where patrons sit.
The menu has quite a variety but they are not worth it. I had the super nachos and it was $14. The chips were warm but it had shredded cheese that tasted like came from a bag. It said it had Pico de gallo and I had so little I saw maybe two pieces of tomato. They put a lot of meat but it was luke warm and bland. I purchased piña agua fresca and it was good.
My husband has asada fries and his fries were luke warm even though they had meat was on top. His had shredded cheese as well not melted nachos cheese. I bought my son torta de carnitas and it only came with meat, guacamole, and pico de gallo. I had to request beans. They charged .75 for beans. All the places I had ordered tortas they always came with meat, guacamole, beans, & lettuce.
When I ordered my son’s food to go I asked for order number and was told not to worry they would bring it to me. I sat back at my table. When my food was ready the young lady was yelling out an order number. She was trying to give it to others and finally the young man that took my order came out and said it was me. ♀️ Unfortunately, the young people running this location need a chef that knows how to season meat, serve food hot, and buy some nacho cheese not cheese from bag. I spent $60 on super nachos, asad fries, sorta with fries, and cheese enchilada plate. Not worth it at all. Sorry.

For the foodies that want to really know the deal read the rest.
This is the 3rd time I’ve tried this restaurant and I’ve really wanted to like this place but to be honest it’s hasn’t met expectations. I’m from Los Angeles and lived in Mexico and have tasted legit Mexican food but this isn’t it.
The menu is bright and has a verity of options but I kept it simply and tried the simplest of Tacos.
For one carnitas tacos should be shredded not cubed blocks of burnt meat.
The fish tacos is 1 slice of burnt filet (mostly breading)
The Al pastor might be the best one yet but still (mid) at most
The tripas was burnt as well
-and finally the garlic shrimp was litterly shrimp cooked in lost of can minced garlic
Other than that the horchata was my favorite

$20 for thrown together food with no sides. $4 a taco, $8 for enchiladas, $3 for a drink? No sides is crazy. Wildly overpriced. Will not be coming back and I recommend you don’t go either until their ownership gets less greedy, or makes better food with better portions.

Best burritos I’ve ever had. I got the ground beef and shared 1/2 with a friend. I’m stuffed. Ordered 2 for another friend man he ate both wow. Next time I’m going to try the shredded beef and add cheese.
