Just walked down for lunch, staff was friendly and nice. Food is cook to order. Fresh and delicious. Would have been 5 stars but the lack of servers was over working one. I counted one server and one busser for the entire patio section. Too bad as it is labor day weekend. Rough time to be short staffed. Bar tender looked like he was running food for the server. But the lime and coconut blended drink is delicious.

We boated over on a Saturday night and got a nice guest parking slip. We made a reservation but accidentally made it with the Ivanos downtown. They we great about it and worked us in.
The seating options are inside bar area or on their huge patio.
Everything was as close to perfect as it could be. The menu is just right. The ribs were sensational…meaty, not dry. Seafood linguine was exceptional. At 9pm, they set lanterns on the tables which was a nice touch. No bugs. Sunset view is one of the best on P.O.
Kayla was our server and she could not have done a better job.
This place feels like it’s under new management as they seem to have navigated the difficulties of operating a lakefront restaurant.
The most ‘normal’ atmosphere and dining experience we’ve had yet this summer….and that is about the best thing you can say about a restaurant during these times.

We intended to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary at Ivano’s in Sandpoint as we have every year since they opened in 1984. However, due to a temporary closure, we discovered Ivano’s Del Lago and had not only a delicious meal, gluten-free of course for me, but also enjoyed a beautiful evening by the lake. Thank you Ivano’s!!

This is one of our favorite getaways, for dinner, drinks and of course the spectacular views of the lake. Even the drive to this place is filled with wonderful views of lake Pend’Oreille and surrounding mountains. Attentive staff serving excellent food…outside on the large patio, is the perfect way to watch a sunset. Whether you drive or boat to this paradise- you’ll not be disappointed.

Wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains, but was very dissapointed with the food. Fried calamari tasted and felt like imitation crab meat. Scallops in the seafood linguine were definitely canned and rubbery. Staff was friendly, but very slow. It’s dissapointing because the location and vibes they go for would make an AMAZING restaurant. If you’re looking for really good food, look to Squeeze-In.

We were camping at the Sam Owens campground and walked over to Ivano’s for dinner. Big mistake, ribs soaked in bar-bq sauce and very tough, and tortellini with pesto was awful. I could do better with frozen pasta and pesto in a jar. It was very pricey, certainly not worth the money we spent. One of the worst meals we’ve had in a long time.

My husband and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary every year since they opened in 1984 at Ivano’s in Sandpoint. However, due to a refrigeration problem, they were closed. Luckily, we were able to celebrate our 43rd anniversary at Ivano’s Del Lago for the first time, and had an equally delicious dinner in a beautiful setting. Thank you Ivano’s!!

Been going to this area for over 30 years. This is the 1st time we walked up in were told that we had to have reservations. We were treated like we were idiots for not knowing we needed reservations when they had a empty room available. Will never go to this place again. We went over to the new place called Chops and had a great night. I would not recommend Ivano’s place to anybody, very overpriced very pretentious.

Took out the boat with 8 of my friends and all sat down for drinks and food. The server was great at first and super nice. He took out order — mine was a simple burger with fries. He asked if I wanted it cooked to medium and I said yes. About 15 minutes go by and our food starts coming out, all except mine. I get it. I too am a server; simple mistake. I ask him if he forgot my burger and he said no, then asked what I got. I told him and he explained that he forgot and I asked him to just make it to go. He brought out the tab shortly after and we realized he didn’t separate the tab. He became very annoyed and said “well isn’t this just great”. Being a server myself, I always separate the tab individually unless i am told not to or if I have already asked whether the check would be split or not. We all asked him to separate it out. He came back with checks that were all completely wrong. We explained who had what and he said he’d fix it. Still wrong. A friend of mine offered to help him and was told by the server to leave — to just take our cards and go.

Long story short, we didn’t pay for our meal. If you’re going for the view, I’d say yes. For service? That’s a no for me.
