Awesome service from Paul and Jenn. Don’t be fooled by the outside parking lot. Carbone’s Kitchen inside is beautiful and a really nice upscale feel. Lunch menu veal cutlet sandwich was a step above any normal lunch sandwich. Perfect blend of flavors and senses. Would easily return here for lunch or dinner.

I got the braised short rib – it was a good meal with the cheesy polenta & broccoli rabe, the braised short rib was tender but the meat flavor was stronger than I would have imagined – maybe over cooked, reheated, or a choice? and not enough sauce on top. Overall I was satisfied with my meal and would come back to try something else.
Also, the chicken parm was overcooked and did not come out with enough sauce.

This was our first time here. We were sat in a very comfortable booth in the bar/lounge area. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the shrimp casino to start. It was pretty good. For dinner we split the lobster stuffed cod. The dish was obviously made to order and the spinach in the dish was so good. I loved the decor and venue. Really cool Italian place.

This used to be a great restaurant, with healthy portions for a reasonable price. During the pandemic they featured family meals that included salad and bread. It was delicious and we used to take out once a week. Our favorite is the Eggplant Parm. Since the pandemic the prices have increased, but the food, portions and value for money were still good. Until this week – we ordered one chicken and one eggplant parm. When we opened the bag we were shocked to find no salad or rolls. The portions were much smaller and the quality was not the same. Not sure if they have a new chef, but this wasn’t the same beloved eggplant parm recipe we’re used to. Worse was the price – very high for sub-par food. And when we called about the salad and rolls, they informed us that they are no longer included with the exorbitantly priced meal. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Always great food and fantastic service, even when you have a big group, which is the case as I tend to go there with work teams. We are never rushed, and the ambience is fun, but not so noisy. You can’t have a conversation.
Had an especially good visit this last week where they helped us celebrate the retirement of one of our team, and made sure we had lots of chance chances to toast her while they took pictures. Customer service got an extra bonus star from me after I lost the receipt and had to call them a couple days later and they found it and sent it to me very quickly.
Make sure that you get the tiramisu!

CSC SERVICES
This was our first time eating at the Bloomfield location and it was great dining experience just like the Rocky Hill location. The food is incredible and the service has always been really good. The manager even made it a point to stop and chat with us for a couple minutes to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I believe that you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a nice to place to eat with great food and service then ANY of the Carbones locations will not disappoint.

We went to Carbone’s for my birthday dinner. It was our first time but definitely not our last. Our servers Kendra and Kaylee were very helpful and all around just great servers. Drinks were perfect. We ordered Philly steak egg rolls( greasy but good) chicken pesto pizza…. (Absolutely amazing, crispy, sauce was perfect! ) And the stuffed portobello. I loved the dish but the mushroom was to vinegary for me. We also received a $20 off for our next visit just for celebrating my birthday there! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
