We took some work colleagues to dinner and enjoyed several vegetarian options, including the garlic edamame, which was some of the best edamame we’ve had before. The vegetable tempura was light and crispy. Perfect for sharing.

The entrees were a bit oversized but absolutely delicious. However, we do wish that tofu was an option to order as a protein and not just veggies by themselves. Our server was pleasant and on point. The atmosphere is a little lacking in Japanese decor.

Cocktails were interesting and quite good, Tokyo Mary with wasabi was noteworthy.

Fan-stinkin-tastic!!! I got the yakisoba & that was probably one of the best resturaunt foods I’ve EVER had! They weren’t shy with the sauce, the noodles were firm & slippery, the veggies weren’t overpowering at all & only served to elevate the texture. Just… *she releases a satisfied breath* My aunt got the Sweet Heat Bowl & all I could get out of her was “Plenty of carrots”. The Shrimp Tempura roll was really good, greasy, & flavorful. Dragon Roll was just ok… Server was very polite & attended to us when we needed, without being overbearing.

UPDATE: I didn’t talk to the owner my wife did while I was in the restroom. And I did not know till I got home. The problem is not the food or the fact that our bill was eventually compensated. It was the fact that the waiter had to work around a rigid manager that didn’t want to help. I understand the owner would have been willing to do it but our waiter said he would probably get in trouble for helping but helped anyway. I get it, it was a bad night but calling us absurd for leaving a negative review just because you’re a small business doesn’t make sense. The problem we had was the way it was handled not the food, waiter, or the owner. My problem is the manager who didn’t want to help or even talk to us that resulted in stress for the waiter. I increased the overall score to 2 stars to reduce the impact. We will comeback and re evaluate at a later time after there is time for additional training.

Let me start by saying this is a regular place for us almost every Friday if not every other Friday. My wife, son, and I all ordered at the same time. Her order came a full 10 mins before mine and my sons. My wife got the yakusoba and asked for extra noodles. When they brought it out the brought out a extra side of plain noodles not more of the noodles used in the dish. I was ok paying for extra noodles but plain boiled pasta was not ok.Our waiter took care of us best he could as it was busy. I got the chicken teriyaki. It was good as normal a little late, but it’s busy so I understand my son got the Hudson noodles again a little late, but it was good, but they refused to remove the three dollar side of noodles from the ticket as it was not what I asked for. I even asked if I could have some of the sauce that goes on it to try to fix it. It did not. When I asked for them to remove it the waiter said the manager told him no. He was able to remove the sweet soy and drinks to compensate but did mention he might get in trouble.

Sushi is excellent. Seaweed salad better than most. Flavorless cheap steak in the tiny bowl of rice. Chicken also unseasoned in the fried rice. Very charred fatty chunk of pork in the ramen with wayyyy too much seaweed, CANNED bean sprouts, no seasoning. Very disappointed. Used to love it here. Wasted lots of money. Left hungry.

Listen folks, it’s about dang time I leave a review! My family and I have been enjoying Kizuna together for YEARS, and we never get tired of it. We usually get Kizuna once a week, sometimes even more than that! The food and the service is just so fantastic every time, it keeps us coming back for more. ❤️ My favorites are the spicy tuna roll, gyoza, and the spicy shrimp yakisoba (I tried chicken this time, which was delicious, but the shrimp is still my favorite)! It’s a locally owned business, that all the locals rave about… don’t miss out on it!!! 😉

P.S. Thank you to Josh and the rest of the crew for always taking such good care of us and our family for all of these years. We’ll see ya next week!

This place has very few saving grace’s. The staff and service were wonderful, but the food absolutely sucked. The crab rangoon was great, and the rice was soft, but the meat was tough and flavorless.

I’d invest in some seasonings. The sushi was pretty okay, the fish relatively tasty. But the fried rice was throughly disappointing.

But our waitress was wonderful, and we can acknowledge she doesn’t cook the food. Overall, just too expensive for simply bad eating.

Kizuna Japanese Restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding customer service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in what they do.

The food is exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered was top quality, from the sushi to the entrées, with generous portions and authentic taste. You can truly tell they use fresh ingredients and care about consistency.

The food is amazing! 5 ⭐️ period! The chicken katsu, the teriyaki, donburi, gyoza and spring rolls! Everything was so delicious and well spiced.

4 stars on atmosphere and service because we think they could be understaffed since the wait was pretty long. If they work on their service and their food presentation, it would be 5 stars ⭐️ across the board!

If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely stop by!

We were hungry and didn’t take pictures but, the plates are definitely empty!

Wonderful experience! Went for the first time and had never had authentic Japanese cuisine. Our server was great and took the time to go over each item and recommend some great meals. Josh came over as well to make sure we were taken care of. Fantastic meals and definitely going again!!!!!

My first time here. I heard from a friend of mine about this place so I decided to treat myself right and take myself out to eat.

(Sometimes dates with yourself ARE THE BEST!)

I definitely do not regret my decision on taking myself out to eat! Even though it was a bit pricey for my taste (loosening my job has had me depressed!) my soul completely enjoyed every moment of it, the waitress was a blessing!

(*WHAT I PUT OUT (($$)) WILL COME BACK TO ME!*)

Thank you!

She made sure I was okay, she did a wonderful job (A++++)
best service I’ve ever had in a very long time…

She got tipped very generously, $20.00 WAY TO GO KIDDO ❤️ YOU DESERVE IT!
