Seafood, Sizzle, and the “Impossible” Dessert!
We had a fantastic visit to Javier’s Cuisine! We started with homemade chips and salsa, but the real stars were the entrees. The Seafood Burrito paired with the Jalapeño Clam Chowder is an unforgettable combination. We also loved the fish tacos and their amazing sauce, while the ground beef tacos are a perfect “play it safe” option for any taco lover.
The highlight of the night was the sizzling fajitas—they arrived at the table in a cloud of deliciousness! To drink, the Cupidrita (frozen strawberry margarita topped with Mike’s Hard Lemonade) was a fun treat, and you can’t go wrong with a traditional frozen marg.
Save room for dessert! The fried ice cream is wonderful, but the “Impossible” (chocolate cake with flan) is truly impossible to forget. It’s a fun, family-friendly spot that’s also perfect for unwinding after work or school.

I am a vegetarian and was happy to find they had a separate vegetarian menu! The food we ordered was fresh and very tasty. I also ordered a champagne margarita and it was excellent as well. The service was great! We will be back!

Javier’s Cuisine is a hidden gem in Bowling Green, Kentucky that you absolutely need to try. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. We even had the pleasure of meeting the whole family and Chef Javier himself. The food is nothing short of spectacular: fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. We went on Tuesday night. I wasn’t expecting a lot of crowd. The food was below average. 4.5/10. I had enchiladas and tamales. They smelled and tasted odd honestly. This restaurant just opened Christmas week in Bowling Green. The food was outstanding. The Empanada appetizer was wonderful. And they had the best Chicken chimichanga that I have ever eaten. The chips are made. Fresh and salsa is very good. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

My family came in tonight for my mom’s birthday and they made up the table with a cute table cloth and some fun birthday accessories, we didn’t ask for but were absolutely incredible! Everyone that we talked to was so unbelievably friendly, especially our server Liz. The food was the best I’ve ever had and I highly recommend getting the table side guacamole! Absolutely coming back again soon

This is very different. Salsa is not canned and we were able to taste the difference. You Can Feel the Energy of a family who puts love into there meals. I had the seafood burritos and my date enjoyed her pollo ala parilla. we will be back hungry for more.

A very welcome addition to Bowling Green, Javier’s is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. When Javier’s exists, there’s never any reason to go to El Mazatlan or even Garcia’s. Every single thing we tried here had us melting at every bite, and we got the flan to finish the meal. People, do not pass up the flan! It is a life-changing experience!
