Best (although really only) breakfast in town. They are fast, have unique options on there menu, and great portions. Wish the place was bigger so the wait time was not as long sometimes. So go support this place so that can happen!

This was our 2nd time trying this place. We loved it the first time a year ago. This time, well, it was ok. I was slightly disappointed in the “Louisiana Grits” this time. I remembered it having an amazing flavor. The reason I wanted to come back. This time, it seemed bland. I added butter to the grits, which I believe was already mixed in on our first visit. It helped a little. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad. Just not as same level as before. My wife ordered the Veggie Breakfast Burrito and added ham. But they forgot the cheese in it. Told the server, and she took it to the kitchen but came back with some parmigiana in a shaker. Very disappointing. There were some other minor issues, but this is getting too long. Anyway, the food was just ok, the server was nice and the prices were good. We will try a different place next time.

4th time here and I never have complaints about the food. Sometimes service is a little slow but they’re crowded. A dependable breakfast (nothing super fancy about it) spot with Mexican style options besides the typical American breakfast which I love so I can soothe my salty taste buds after black beans and tortillas with pancakes. Fresh squeezed orange juice (I recommend asking for a glass of ice on side in go cup to go with it). They have good size portions for the price

Our first time finally trying this place out and everything was delicious. Our waiter was awesome, the Florentine omelette was really good, they have really thick French toast and everybody at our table enjoyed their food. I wish this place was opened at dinner time.

The young girl waiting on us was really nice. The waffle with banana and pecans was really good. The grits were not cooked and did not have any seasoning. We ordered a bacon biscuit to go and they charged us more than the menu price so we asked why. The owner said we have to pay for the to-go boxes. I said, we have to go boxes right here and we were charged the menu prices. She refused to take it off, so we cancelled the to go order. Overall, some of the food was good, some really bad, and the owners just seemed greedy and petty.

I had heard a lot of great hype about this place; however, I was a little disappointed. We stopped by on a Saturday morning, around 10. The place was packed, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. It was only 2 of us, but we waited nearly 10 minutes to get our drink order taken. We ordered food at the same time to hopefully speed up the process, but still took 15 or so minutes for basic breakfast
Both orders were missing items and just ok in taste.
I guess on a slower morning it would be better?

Such a cute place! Got the fiesta omelet, and it was delicious! Service was wonderful, and brunch on the patio was such a nice addition to our Saturday

Breakfast at the Yellow Bird was… an adventure.
It took longer for our waitress to take our order than it did for the kitchen to cook it.
We’d start telling her what we wanted, and before we could finish, she’d vanish — off to do… something. Not sure what. Maybe chase a squirrel. Maybe start a side hustle.
Once she finally wrote it down, the food showed up fast (and was pretty good), but then the check? That was another waiting game.
I think our waitress had the kind of ADD that could win gold medals — and honestly, I’m just impressed she remembered to bring the coffee.

Haven’t been here in years. Decided to try again but I would not recommend. It’s okay but food didn’t taste great and quality was slacking. Not what I was expecting and hoping for.
