Im not necessarily one for a, ‘smash-burger’, but it was alright. It still had some pink in it so nice job back there! Homemade fries and chips. I had the house burger and tho they said they couldn’t remove a cheese and trade it for cheddar they added cheddar so okay. I couldn’t eat but 1/4 the portion of fries and the burger….

We ordered the all American burger and build your own burger. We were greeted when we walked in the door. The waitress came to our table within 10 seconds. The food came out quickly and was extremely delicious. The best burger I’ve had on the coast. The price is right! I can’t say enough about the service. It was just excellent.

5-Star all the way! I showed up in flip-flops with my dog looking for a good burger and a beer – did I ever get them! The service was great – fast, friendly and helpful. They recommended a fantastic IPA and they even gave my dog some water. The burger was perfect – one of the better ones I’ve had on the Gulf Coast. Perfectly seasoned, fresh bun, fresh ingredients all around. The patio was really pleasant, with little umbrellaed tables and lovely trees. I’ll be back soon and I hope you pay a visit, too!

Our family (all 6) decided on having burgers for dinner. Unfortunately, our first selection turned out to be a dive bar that did not allow anyone under the age of 21 to enter. Sometimes Google reviews can be a bit misleading by not having critical information.
No problem. We just redirected our search for a great burger elsewhere. We fortunately landed on Camphouse Burgers in Long Beach. Having never driven through Long Beach, we were impressed by the downtown area, reminiscent of old towns from years gone by. Waze directed us perfectly to the restaurant.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice lady behind the bar who ended up being our server and cashier. Camphouse is a small, neatly maintained building that reminded me of an old corner cafe. It brought back many memories.
Most adults decided on the All American burger while I and the kids chose the “build your own” burger. I customized my double burger by adding cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and All American sauce. A side of fries rounded out my order.
It’s hard to find burgers like Camphouse makes. Their burgers are like those you used to find in diners or corner drug stores back in the 60’s and 70’s. Camphouse Burgers are not what you’d get at a fast-food joint. There’s more flavor in those flat top burgers than mass produced offerings. The fries were awesome too.
Service was top-notch, the atmosphere quaint and the entire setting was nostalgic. I highly recommend Camphouse in Long Beach. We had a wonderful experience there.

Stumbled into this place one day and grabbed their turkey burger. Seriously, one of the best burgers I’ve had. I’m not a frequent beef consumer, so it’s nice to have the turkey burger option around town. Wasn’t expecting to see a draft selection, so I was able to grab a beer too. Great little place with great, quick service.

Small smash burger place on the LB strip. Has decent atmosphere and small outdoor patio. Clean spacious bathroom. Drinks come in a souvenir party cup.
Food was just ok. I got the Camp house Burger, it was a bit greasy for me, I’m guessing 70/30 grade regular ground beef. Did not taste like Angus or grass fed. Price is only for burger. Sides are separate, but single order of fries was enough to share for 2. They use a seasoning mix. Not sure what was in it, but gave me a bit of an allergy reaction, so may have msg or other artificial color or preserves. I would ask to hold the seasoning if you have food allergies.
They had several condiments but was disappointed that ketchup was low grade high fructose corn syrup w sugar brand. Would be better if they switched to Heinz Simply or other non HFCS brand.
Alcohol drinks looked good, but didn’t order any.

Yall, I don’t ever leave reviews. I’m way too lazy to leave a whole review after every meal I eat. YALL, I can’t stress enough how good this place was! Simple menu, quick service, reasonable prices, the BEST French fries I’ve ever had down here, and the BEST burger I’ve ever ate. Seriously. If there’s a long wait, wait. If it’s a long drive away, drive. If you’re vegan, change (or don’t bc they also have a veggie burger). You’re going to want to splurge and get the candied jalapeños on the OCBD burger!

Such a great place for lunch! The burgers were so good, my 5 year old asked for another. Not to mention the staff were very attentive and sweet with our 2 year old. Everyone there was so kind and the service was great. We will definitely be going back!
