Wonderfully Weird
Okay I’m not sure if I reviewed them before but if not I should be ashamed because this place is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants!! I love everything from the beautiful, peaceful ambiance to the absolutely delectable food, I love this place for so many reasons, it feels like you found some secret treasure right in the middle of the Little Rock area! Food is amazing me and my husband and occasionally my daughter have tried so many things on the menu no disappointment to date! The sauce, the appetizers, the meal and some of the best soup always leave happy, also the wait staff have perfect timing, not too soon not too late and very very affordable! I appreciate all of it!!

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The lunch specials are such a great deal. The egg roll, hot and sour soup, and beef lo mein were so so good and the price was unbeatable! The fried rice was not good unfortunately, but still more than happy with everything else.

I think I was expecting too much, so that is partly why I was disappointed. I figured it would be mostly americanized chinese food, but maybe a few unique things. Not really the case. I asked if they had any vegetables like gailan, bol choy, yu choy, etc. No. Just the standards. Overly sweet sauces or dishes just lacking distinct flavors. The spicy dumplings were ok, lots of wrapper not so much filling, sauce was not spicy. Meh.

I tired to place an order and asked to replace rice with noodles for and up charge or just add noodles. The lady that answered the phone said that she couldn’t do that (rice is built in dish). I asked if I could just be charged for it. Her response was are you going to order or not. I asked if she would answer my question about adding noodles. She said “NO”! I LOVE the food. Best Chinese menu in town but I like the old owner’s customer service and acceptance better. I didn’t order at all. Settled for a lesser tasting dish elsewhere instead.

I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch special and honestly it was not great at all! The orange chicken didn’t taste like orange chicken. And the chicken was heavily breaded and extremely tough.

Just ordered take out here just to leave the building and IMMEDIATELY have the man who served me and my sister run out to us IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD to say “you wanna add something? You wanna add a tip?”. I don’t mind tipping but all we had was 2 drinks and a to-go order. I don’t tip at McDonald’s for that service so i wasn’t expecting to tip for this because tips are for service. I haven’t tasted the food yet and with that kind of service, im not looking forward to it ♀️ I hope that $5 was worth it

Hot and sour soup was sour and not very spicy. Shrimp Broccoli was good. General chicken was huge pieces, but tough . Egg roll was fine. Everyone has different tastes and this might be perfect for someone else’s taste buds .

We found this Chinese restaurant online. The service is top-notch, and the decor is pretty cute too! But when it comes to the food, oh my gosh, it’s like super Americanized, haha! Seriously though, if you ever get the chance to try authentic Chinese cuisine, you’ll be in for a treat! The fish-flavored eggplant was like sweet and salty overload, and the camphor-tea duck had zero flavor. Like, why not marinate it beforehand for that extra kick? Sooo weird, right?

My experience getting takeout here was outstanding. The staff was very kind. The food was piping hot and delicious too. I got shrimp lo mein and general Tao’s chicken. The prices are good value in today’s economy.
