It was decent. Prices are fair, bar tenders and staff are very nice and helpful. It looks nice inside. Not much seating though. Pizza was okay. A bit too much sauce for my liking since it’s only a thin crust here and that’s someone who likes deep dish. It is worth a shot.

Excellent food at this picturesque country tavern right next to the Pine River. Gorgeous views from the bar and deck. Can walk in backyard and take in the beauty, hear the water rushing around the huge stones.
Service is always excellent. Order at bar. Gets crazy busy on Friday nights. The food will be brought out by kitchen staff. Particularly recommend Ashley, great bartender.
The food is very good. I particularly recommend the pizza burger. Pizza sausage formed into a burger patty.and topped with sautéed mushrooms, pepperoni, Mozzarella, accompanied by raw onion. With cup of red pizza sauce for dipping. Delicious!
Highly recommend.
While in area, strongly recommend visiting the “Springwater Saxeville Covered Bridge” just further west of here, turn right on 24th Lane. So serene and peaceful.

We grabbed some take out off a recommendation from a local business owner.
The pies were great. One basic pep and sausage and a Buffalo Chicken pizza, both extremely tasty. My wife got an Italian Beef sans the cheese because she’s allergic, but it was delicious! If it had the cheese, I’d say it would be better than Portillos!
I had the Ding Mac and it was killer. The fries were great and the onion rings were on point!
The staff was very friendly while we were waiting and assisted with getting the dart machine up and running for us.
We’ll be back in the future for sure!
We dined in this go around – July 2025. Another great experience! I think we ordered every appetizer – which were all awesome – especially the spicy pickle spears!

Have gone here for a couple years this time was different. Waited for our food for 30min with only 8 other customers in. Wrong fries no tarter for fish sandwich and asked me to remake I said no no biggie but then chicken bouillon was served as aujus. Then the bartender didn’t realize I left and started telling. Another customer we were over the top And was in the wrong. no we were not In the wrong and you’re the one who only charged for a drink each. Unapologetic you were our go to and ruined it for both parties

Always a pleasant experience here! This however was my hubby’s and my first time trying their Wednesday Tacos and Loaded Nachos! Oh my gosh! Delicious! The best I’ve had in a very very long time! And let me preface this with, we lived in Houston, TX for 13 years before moving up this way to be closer to family…that’s another story for another time, but we had many many Mexican type foods down there, and while yes, their authentic tacos are the best, this was the best I’ve had in WI so far. I am going to keep this as my go to from now on when in the mood for them. Thanks guys for the delicious food! And in the middle of nowhere this is a bonus!

Awesome service! Angie was super attentive. The atmosphere and scenery is just lovely and serene. The pickle chips were outstanding with the honey mustard and the tenderloin sandwich was extremely tasty. Awesome drinks and pricing. Will definitely return to such a cool spot. Love it!!

Ordered 2 piece Walleye and got 4 perch filets, stating they were Walleye!! Been here before and the 2 filets were at least 14″, these were, at most. 6″. Don’t think we’ll be back even though the campgrounds is a mile away!!

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a little kid and have seen it change over the ages. Nice, redone grill, kitchen, bar, bathrooms and dining area. Beautiful views of the Pine River. New menu, and from the sounds of it very tasty wings. Also quick access to the snowmobile trails. Deffinatley be back.

Fun trip out for a steak sandwich. I added mushrooms and onions. It was tender and perfectly seasoned, not too much salt. I ordered medium rare, it came rare but I didn’t mind, as long as it’s warm.
