We got there an hour and a half before closing. So they didn’t have much to offer. Although what they could make/cook was fresh and hot off the stove. I like that their foods are not heavily seasoned nor greasy. Service was great. And pricing was affordable. Over all they get a 4.8 from me.

Update 10/1/25
I was going to delete this review but I’ll pass. The location on Albany ave is solid but this one will have you PISSED every single time. Waited months to try again after my last purchase was trash only to have the same garbage. Only ordered parcha and (3) chicken pastelillos but of course I got old hard ass beef empanadas wasn’t fresh at all and DoorDash customer service sucks! The restaurant confirmed I got the wrong items and it’s literally the only food item ordered. Why not cancel it if you don’t have what was paid for? Over them fr never again!
This location is always ripping people off. They charge way too much money to send this little bit of food. The containers are thin and they barely give you any food. The steak was packed in a separate plastic container, soaking in oil food taste rushed but charged almost $30 for this meal. Mind you this is for my lunch break so it’s not as simple as just bringing it back. So disappointing smh

Whenever I visit Hartford I always like to eat from the local Spanish restaurants. On Saturday afternoon choose to buy food from Aqui Me Quendo restaurant. Which turned out to be the worst decision. First of all the service person could not speak English, and had no courtesy smile. I ordered 2 bacaloitos, 1 potatoe ball, 1 yucca and 1 green banana alcalpurria for $23 dollars. At first site I was excited to eat and share these items with family for lunch. The potatoe ball and alcalpurria were made extra large which was made me excited. But once I was at home and we began to try to eat these items and instantly we became very disappointed and dissatisfied. The bacalouitos tasted like old dirty grease, fried flour and dry cod fish. The potatoe ball wasn’t cooked throughout it had hard potatoe chunks, and the ground meat didn’t have seasoning. Needless to say the alcalpurria was very greasy, the meat was fatty chunks of pork and both didn’t have that savory authentic Peurto Rican flavor. After two bites the food sent my family running to use the bathroom because of the grease. Never ever again will I eat from here again. That’s a promise!

Was super excited to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. The food was fresh and like home. Tried other empanadas (aka pastelillos) in town and theirs were still the best. Service was friendly and efficient. It was also nice to be able to speak Spanish with others.

Swing by this restaurant to get a taste of Puerto Rican food. I ordered a plain mofongo and my partner ordered arroz con gandules, habichuelas y pernil (rice and peas, beans and roasted pork shoulder). We also shared a side of tostones. We both left very satisfied and with a full belly, all signs of a great meal. The restaurant ambiance is very chill and the employees are very courteous. I’d return for some Puerto Rican flavors next time I’m in the Hartford area.

Pretty small but quaint restaurant located at the intersection of Broad and Park Streets. There are about 3 small tables with chairs, as well as a long counter with bar stools facing Broad Street where you can sit and dine. The young man serving behind the food counter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of food he was selling. The food was very good and filling as expected, if you’re used to Puerto Rican foods. There was also a variety of dessert options. The place was clean on the inside and I was very impressed when I saw an older gentleman who obviously works at the restaurant (He was wearing a t-shirt with the name on it), sweeping the sidewalk and the streets outside the restaurant and picking up the trash. Bravo! I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience, and based on the amount of patrons that came in to pick up food while I was there, I guess others feel the same way too.

WEPA! I’ve tried so many Spanish restaurants in Hartford but this might be the one! The owner and his daughter were very kind in helping us decide what to order. Establishment was cute and clean and had hand sanitizer readily available. Portions and the price was great. Loved that extra sauce was provided in a separate cup to prevent leakage. Our food was delicious! Perfectly seasoned unlike other places that overly use salt. I could taste so many different flavors. Highly recommend and will come again. I’ll keep updating photos because I was starving they didn’t look as good as they could lol!
