Coming from Southern California, I was doubtful that a Mexican restaurant in a little town in Missouri would deliver good Mexican food. However, having been to Enrique’s, I am happy to report that there is actually one restaurant in Missouri that delivers really good Mexican food! Lots of variety in sauces and salsas, the food is fresh and the recipes are flavorful. I highly recommend anyone looking for good Mexican food to try Enrique’s. It is worth the drive if you are coming from Springfield or even down from Kansas City.

Our server was very nice and attentive. Our food was fabulous. Chips and salsa great. Very fresh food! Thank you. Enrique your momma would be proud. We will be back when we come back to town

Went for dinner, the chips were bland and salsa tasted like tomatos out of a can. Waitress was suprised we really hadnt eatne any of them. We explained that this didnt tast like salsa just tomatoes. She said we have a spicy version but it would be an upcharge. My son ordered a Chipotle sauce on his burrito, and again it was just some kind of tomato sauce. Service was fine, food was very, very bland no flavor.

What an amazing family oriented restaurant. We’re from the KC area and we’re in town to celebrate my Dad’s 84th birthday. Enrique came by to visit and leave some well wishes for my father who is battling cancer. Enrique is also a Stockton community activist, like my Dad, and was expressing his gratitude.
The atmosphere was very fun and welcoming. The service was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and very affordably priced. If you’re in the mood for good food and an excellent dining experience, be sure to visit Enrique’s Mexican Grill!

We’ve been coming to the lake for three years now, and this restaurant has become a must-stop. The food is great (the salsa roja and Chile relleno are my faves), and the staff is always super friendly and quick. Their new dining area is really beautiful, the margaritas are delicious and refreshing. Can’t wait to come back next year!

wow is a fantastic server also she has a fantastic sense of humor and even met Mr Enrique very very nice gentleman 1st time ever went there and give me a paper gift card which. I will be going back for more . All . I can say is .I hope the cook is up for the challenge in sending out fantastic food like they did when was there. So . I when . I do reviews I’m honest and truthful but folks if you haven’t been there it’s a place and a little drive but it is worth it . Had a fantastic experience and . I’m sure you all will to . Plus the drive you can see wildlife it’s a win win the tamales was perfect in my book if . A really must try a place it’s a up all the way . All honesty you should really try it take a trip . The food was literally not Mexican food. Yes, it had the same menu as a Mexican restaurant, but the food was absolutely horrid. I didnt like the salsa AT ALL, the queso was melted american cheese I swear, the deep fried taco was a hamburger patty that tasted old and a little charred from a charcoal grill, and they put the HAMBURGER GREASE in a gravy boat and sent it out with the rice and beans. Who does that!? Tamales out of a can are more authentic then the ones they were serving!!! It was so awful and made with some kind of breading around a roll of cooked meat that was not seasoned and also tasted like charcoal. Some guy came out and asked if we liked everything because we literally took 1 bite of our food and couldnt even eat any more of it that’s how bad it was. And I had to pay for it on top of that. If I could give no stars I would. This is the WORST restaurant I have EVER been to. If a person can’t even satisfy their hunger off the chips and salsa after the food is literally not edible- you shouldn’t even be allowed to cook for ANYBODY. EVER. This place used to be good, but now my dog wouldn’t eat the food they serve.
