My husband and I were referred here by my sister, we love menudo and it’s very rare to find a good place that can make it with love and the authentic way. We go here at least twice a month for their Menudo and tres leches cake!! The service is so amazing and the staff are always happy and smiling. It’s laid back and we definitely enjoy dining in. They have great music and TV if you like to watch and eat. A nice chip and salsa bar. Lots of different options for hot and ready authentic Mexican food or groceries, even dessert and drinks!! Highly recommend. Food is always hot and fresh. We are regulars. Great job guys!

I usually don’t post stuff like this, but today I went to La Esquina because I was craving some good barbacoa and it had been recommended to me. I ordered 2 pounds and only got two small cups of salsa. I asked for a few more since my coworkers were gonna want some too I figured with that much meat, they’d give a little more. When I asked for three more green and three more red sauces, the lady charged me $9 extra . First time going there… and definitely the last.

This place had a variety of my favorite snacks! I’ve been searching for the chiccaron and home made tamales for a while. It’s 10am and I’m in heaven! Off to start the day with my 1/2 dozen pork tamales. Service was great my only gripe would be is it was super hot inside from all the food cooking.

Asada Burrito was good any meaty. Just a little basic. Tamales are top notch. Worth every penny. Aguas Frescas: I got the horchata and I was NOT disappointed! Refreshing and sweet. Excellent cinnamon flavor. Will order again.

I will not be able to sample more on of what this charming taqueria has to offer. We are here on travel and I had a craving for menudo. Wifey and I found La Esquina via Yelp and they serve menudo everyday. Target acquired ! Service was quick and the menudo was hot full of maiz and tripe. It was a bit more picoso (spicy) than we are used to but definitely enjoyable. Based on the many workers coming in for breakfast I can tell this food has some comfort appeal.

Little Hispanic Grocery store which serves some amazing food too. Their Barbacoa is my favorite in OKC. Tripa is delicious and the ribs in salsa Verde, spicy and delicious stuff! Highly recommend if you haven’t been. It’s one of the little hole in the wall places you just have to try.

The food is good and the familia platters are great, but if you look white or are white they are going to be rude, talk shit about you, and they won’t cut up your carnitas so good food, but be prepared to get some attitude and not the best service if you aren’t the right look.

Basically you can buy meat by the pound starting at half a pound with a couple different choices to pick from. This is half a pound of barbacoa which is high quality and closest to authentic as possible. Comes with about 5 tortillas, onion and cilantro, and one salsa for right under 10 bucks. If you’d bring your own low carb tortillas you can easily make this meal keto low carb.
