My absolute favorite place to visit for a beer when I’m in the Strip District. Their buffalo chicken dip is also one of the best I’ve had. I’ve also attended plenty of events here that they put on and it’s always enjoyable. Always a great atmosphere! I highly recommend checking out Cinderlands!

Great selection of beer and food was good, wing special on Thursday. Got a 4 pack of the Fuerig Smoked Schwarzbier, a collaboration with Noble Creature Wild Ales & Lagers. Delicious

Glad to know Pittsburgh is doing a few things right. This brewery being one of them. It’s in ‘The Strip,’ and don’t worry, they won’t have Las Vegas Strip style pricing here. There’s street parking and a giant parking lot right next door. Lots of construction going on in this area. So, The Strip is up and coming? There’s plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, including bar stools. Had a couple beers and read a book at the bar. Social anxiety mixed with love of craft beer. If that’s you, too, expect some overhead comments like, ‘I thought this was a bar,’ from the sassy, heartless bartender. Discomfort!
Beer time: Tracks Again is a fine traditional pilsner. Squish Ice is a modern hop-forward West Coast pilsner. Don’t see too many of those, and it’s a good one. Get it while you can. Strawberry Yinzerade is a nice sour, and was the visit’s taste highlight. Bombs in Pop Space, another fruited sour, had lots of terrific blended fruit flavors, softened with some lactose for that milkshake taste. The Coffee & Orange Nitro Milk Stout was gross. Not recommended. The piña colada inspired Rooftop Colada wheat beer was an unexpected treat.

My husband wanted to try the IPA’s. I’m not a beer drinker and usually find breweries to have limited other options. This place has a full bar and their margarita is very good. We also loved the Red pizza and the Smoked Brisket Wrap. Both 10/10! The downstairs is bar service, just order from the table and they bring it out, there’s cornhole and a few other tabletop games set up. Upstairs is table service with a section of open air seating!

Where to even start? I visited Cinderlands Warehouse and it was amazing! Truly a gem—gorgeous space, really good beer and cocktails, and the food? Absolutely delicious.
The place has two floors and a deck for outdoor seating, which is perfect when the weather’s nice. Since this is where they brew their beer, I had to try something local. I went with the Lil Cinder Mango—a classic American light lager made with real mango purée and flavor. It’s the perfect summer sipper!
Also tried Cindi’s Hard Mountain Tea, and as a fan of all things iced tea, this was a dream. It’s a hard iced tea, steam brewed and fizz-free, served over ice—super refreshing.
From the bites menu, we had:
Cheese curds: perfectly crispy, served with marinara.
Brussels sprouts: sunflower pesto, cherry tomatoes, couscous, aged provolone, and pistachios. This flavor combo was out of this world—truly a standout dish.
We happened to go on a Thursday, which meant Wing Night—tip: mark your calendar! Wings are just $1 each, available in 6 or 12-piece orders. The dry rub flavor was delicious.
We also tried a variety of mains:
Red Pizza: a classic—marinara with a blend of cheddar, fontina, and parmesan. Simple and so good.
Crunch Wrap: shredded beef, Fritos, beer cheese, enchilada sauce, and Aleppo sour cream. Absolutely delicious.
Smashed Wagyu Burger: two wagyu patties with grilled onions, dijonnaise, American cheese, bread & butter pickles, all on a Mediterra challah bun. Super fresh and tasty. All sandwiches come with chips too!
Cinderlands has a few locations around the city, and they also sell their beer in bars and through local distributors. But the Warehouse location? Highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I were here about three weeks ago. We had a great time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is friendly. We found this to be very refreshing versus other places we were at around the city. Our bartender, Christian, was a lot of fun to talk to. He gave us great ideas of other places to eat and drink at for the next few days. Big shout out to him for the recommendations and great conversation. There is a great upstairs area that has a bit of a different feel than the first floor.

My husband and I have spent so many nights at Cinderlands and always want to come back because of the great food and better beer. We even got married here and it was genuinely the best decision we made. The event coordinator, Kate, is absolutely fantastic to work with. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and experienced. All of the staff that worked that night as well were absolutely wonderful. There was never a line at the bar for drinks and were extremely accommodating to us and our guests the entire night. Multiple times they came up to us asking what we wanted to drink which was so appreciated when we didn’t have time to go to the bar when talking to guests. Beyond that, the space is BEAUTIFUL. With the string lights, exposed brick, and outdoor patio, it was the perfect setting for end of summer wedding. Everything is included as well so you don’t have to worry about renting chairs, tables, place settings, bringing in catering or booze… etc for the big day. Also very affordable!! Can’t say enough great things about Cinderlands. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. <3

A coworker suggested we stoo in before a work event. The construction and the trash bins caused the outdoor area to smell bad. I went upstairs to the bar and there was a guy and a girl working the bar. The girl was friendly, brought water, menu, offered to let me try a beer. However, the guy was really rude. I’d just sat down with the menu, and he asked what I’d like to drink. I’d never been before, and joking said, “No idea yet, I’ve never been here.” he gave me a dirty look, said ok, and walked away. He ignored me the rest of the time regardless of me being obviously ready to order. He also complained to the other customers the entire time. The type of bartender who thinks it’s endearing to be the woe is me type. I used to bartend and know many like him. I went from a great mood to wishing an earthquake would take us all out. I finally ordered from the girl. 12 boneless wings for 12 dollars. Their special. I’d seen a guy with the bone in, and they looked amazing. Mine came out looking like the leftover chicken at the bottom of the bag. Half didn’t even have chicken inside. They were really overcooked, and we didn’t touch them. The lady bartender asked how they were seeing I wasn’t eating then. I mentioned them looking not so great, and she said .. oh, that’s because we make them homemade here. Didn’t ask if I wanted to send them back. I didn’t eat them, took them home to get pics for my review, and tossed them out. I would not return. I don’t think I’ve ever given a 1 star review until now.

I was so excited to come here since I’ve visited their other location on butler street (which is now known as long story short). The food was so great I couldn’t stop thinking about it for a long time. So I really wanted to stop here while I was in the area.
Very big location with tons of seating. The upstairs has tables outside on the deck.
The food is on point. Which is why I came. I had a couple drinks while enjoying my crunch wrap. One of which was the chai espresso martini and it was so good I wanted another one.
The staff is very nice. And changed some of my order for me since my boyfriend is allergic to nuts. So they graciously made sure all my food and drink did not contain any nuts.
There’s wheelchair access to the top floor with an elevator. With bathrooms both available on the bottom floor and the top.

I recently held a rehearsal night dinner and welcome party for my son and future daughter-in-law at Cinderlands Brewery in Pittsburg. This involved really two events occurring back to back over 4 hours for 160 guests. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kate and her crew. The atmosphere for a decidedly more casual event was perfect. The food quality above average. The folks assisting Kate were definitely on it replenishing empty trays when needed and always available. The bar access was very available, minimal wait time if any. Although the beer was an obvious choice, cocktails were available and all excellent quality.
I got nothing but rave reviews from my family and guests who attended these events. Thank you Kate for your competence and excellent operation that is the Cinderlands Brewery. As one might guess I heartedly recommend this establishment.
