After a long international flight, we recently popped into Bar Harbor in Seattle and had a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the friendly manager, Brian, who quickly ushered us to a table and informed us about the happy hour specials.

The food was overall delicious, although I found the crab cake sliders to be a bit on the dry side. On the other hand, the lobster mac & cheese was a standout with a generous serving of lobster that really made the dish shine. The oysters were outstanding—nice, plump, and incredibly fresh!

The restaurant has a great vibe, filled with high energy and a cool atmosphere. While our server wasn’t always accessible, Brian was there to save the day whenever we needed assistance.

One interesting tidbit: they don’t carry any ketchup! It was a unique touch that added to the character of the place. Overall, Bar Harbor is a fantastic spot to unwind after a long day of travel, and I would definitely recommend it!

I made a quick pit stop here for lunch. I had the roasted chicken sandwich. It was great. The Ceasar salad that came with the sandwich was ok. I started the meal with the deviled eggs which were good. Service was great and I’d come back on a return visit to try other things.

Food has always been very good and the seafood is fresh. I usually do the lobster rolls, but I opted for the lobster salad this time, which still had a good portion of lobster. The clam chowder is tasty and full of clam bits but was a little runny and not as thick as I wouldve liked. The interior restaurant is a nice option if the weather is bad, while the outdoor window service and seating are great during the hot summer days.

Bar Harbor offers a mix of hits and misses. The lobster roll sandwich and crab cake sandwich were both absolutely delicious, full of fresh seafood flavor. However, the clam chowder was a bit of a letdown and didn’t quite match the quality of the other dishes. Still, it’s worth a visit for the sandwiches alone!

Stopped here for evening to have dinner with a group of colleagues. We got a table, ordered drinks, and then put in the food order. We ate some fresh oysters and lobster/crab rolls. They ran short on crab and I got a lobster crab roll. All of us were fulfilled with the roll! They were delicious!! I would definitely eat here again when I’m in town.

Lobster roll the way you want it! You can choose from 3 different styles of lobster roll and a side. It’s not cheap though, you’re looking at $25ish for the lobster roll and it’s not large in size either.

They do have a really cool bar attached to the restaurant, so have fun with some drinks or after work hang out.

Overall, a little on the expensive side, but tasty, and a cool little hang out spot in downtown Seattle.

Our food was really good, the service was prompt and friendly and it’s a nice open concept restaurant. My Connecticut style crab roll looked like it wasn’t much food but like an iceberg is 90% under water, there was a ton of buttery crab hidden in the bun. The coleslaw was crunchy and delicately dressed. The draft beer I ordered was tapped out and our server brought out a nice alternative for me to consider, I loved that he made it easy. We’ll be back.

Lively little place with fantastic food! The prawn ceviche with salsa verde was a winner to be sure. However, the real showstopper here was literally the best clam chowder I’ve ever had! Now this is not your typical thick chowder from a can. It’s a lighter broth, still rich, and the bacon sets it over the top!

It’s not a bad spot for a quick bite. Lots of seating and high ceilings create a nice ambiance. I did find the clam chowder to be slightly on the runny side. The crab melt was ok but wasn’t really anything impressive. Lobster roll seemed to be a bit skimpish on the lobster meat.

Exceptionally friendly staff, pleasant aesthetics, and truly authentic lobstah roll. I think the price could be rounded down to $25 considering the size, but undoubtedly enjoyable from start to finish. The old fashioned wasn’t too bitter. Small decent draft beer selection given the size.
